Game #1 – Altek vs. Dug Out Demons

Altek comes ready to play and smashes seven runs right out of the gate. Nick Cataldi grabs the first runs of the game with a two run bomb. Bob Wenner will grab a two run bomb later in the inning as well. Demons respond in the second inning with two homers of their own. First was a Bill Shallcross two run bomb and then later in the inning a Jay Pane two run bomb. Lauren Wood also added a two run single in the inning. Chad Solomon hits the third homer of the night for Altek as they increase their lead to 9-6. Demons respond in the bottom of the inning and will tie this one up. Pat Kelly smashes a two run bomb while Tom Koezler adds a solo shot. Both teams will struggle in the fourth before Altek comes out swinging in the fifth. Cataldi adds another bomb, this time a three run shot and a batter later, Solomon smashes a solo shot. Again, Demons fight back. Jay Pane , Nonny and PK all knock in runs on doubles while Koezler adds two more to his count with a single. Altek will take the lead again with a couple runs in the seventh, but Demons hold the sticks to win this one in the bottom of the inning. Shallcross starts the comeback with a solo bomb, and Nonny will set it up with an RBI single. For the second week in a row, PK will walk this one off with a two run bomb. Demons win 19-18.

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Altek

The Maize will come out and strike for two runs on a Kyle Strachen two run bomb. They take the lead early here, but runs would become scarce across the rest of the game. Altek looking to comeback from a tough first game, grab four runs in the first. Cataldi had an RBI double, then Solomon and Cwikla go back to back and net Altek three runs. Altek will get six more runs in the third. Cataldi was back at it again with a two run bomb, while Adam Volpe added an RBI single and Bob Werner added two on a double. Altek will continue to win it with the gloves and will coast. Altek adds three late runs and will win this one easy. Altek wins 13-2.
