Game #1 – Wehrung’s vs. Carroll’s

Carroll’s will be the first one to strike in this one with a sac fly from Bryan Bart and an RBI single from Bill Shipe. Defense would really control this game as neither team scores for a good portion of the game. No action until the fifth inning when Bobby Snyder gets Wehrung’s their first run on a Bobby Snyder sac fly. Sarah Yoos will strike in the bottom of the inning for Carroll’s with an RBI triple to keep their lead as it is a 3-1 game. Douglas Monninghoff will grab a run for Wehrung’s with an RBI single and bring this to within one run. Unfortunately, that is all they can muster up as they fall in this one. Carroll’s win 3-2.
