Game #1 – Rock N Rebel vs. Wehrung’s

Eric Stalford gets the scoring started in this one with an RBI single. This is the only scoring we would get until the third, when Wehrung’s tie this game up. Back to back singles from Erik Senderling and Kyle Hendricks lead to a run. Rebel take the lead in the fourth, getting three runs in the inning. Ed Reynolds grabs a run on an RBI double, Eric Rosenblum nets a run on a sac fly and Bill Harper grabs a run on an RBI single. Rebel take a bigger lead in the fifth, with five more runs, four coming on a blast from Stalford, as he continues to hit well in this one. Luke Hendricks gets Wehrung’s a couple of runs back in the seventh on a two run blast, but that is all they can put up in this one. Rebel wins 9-4.

Game #2 – Altek vs. Wehrung’s

Altek comes out rolling and blast three home runs right out of the gate. Nick Cataldi started it with a three run bomb followed by back to back solo homers from Kevin Cwikla and Bob Wenner. No scoring happens until the fourth when Altek tack on two more runs. Casey Mahron knocked in a run on a single and Kristin Luizza on a fielder’s choice. Wenner and Scott Flaherty knock in runs on back to back RBI singles and Luizza knocks in two on a double. Wehrung’s will put up three runs late thanks to an Erik Senderling RBI triple and Adam Hendricks solo bomb, but it would be too little too late. Altek wins 11-3.
