Game #1 – The Maize vs. Wackers

Wackers get rolling with three runs out of the gate on an Alex Amador sac fly and a Jess F RBI double. Maize get one run back on a Austin RBI single. Maize will grab a quick lead in the third after Bill and Gary sac flys as well as an RBI single from Ryan. Wackers respond with four runs of their own. Dan Vescovi starts the scoring with an RBI single followed by a two run triple off the bat of Jess F. Maize gets three runs across the fourth and fifth inning on RBI hits from Eggito and Bill, but that is where the scoring would stop for them. Wackers continue to roll on, getting five more runs late. Vescovi had two more runs on a single as Wackers will steal this game late. Wackers win 13-8.

Player of the Game:
Dan Vescovi (Wackers) – 4/4, 2B, 3 RBI’s

Game #2 – Wackers vs. Wehrungs

Wackers get started in this second game with six runs in the second. Jason starts it with an RBI double, followed by an RBI single from Roc and RBI triples from Alex A and Jess F, she continues to crush the ball tonight. Wehrung’s would respond over the first two innings getting five runs in total. Luke Hendricks smashed a two run ball deep into the woods, while Adam Hendricks had an RBI triple. Douglas Moninghoff also had a solo bomb in the inning. Wackers come back in the third with another four runs. Rich smacked an RBI single while Alex F smashed a two run double. Dennis D also smashed an RBI double. Wackers keep that going with another four runs in the fourth. Rich was back at it again, this time netting three runs on a double. Wackers close it out in the sixth, with five more runs. Rich clears the bases again, this time on another double as Wackers will cruise. Wackers win 19-9.

Player of the Game:
Rich (Wackers) – 4/5, 2 2B’s, 7 RBI’s

Game #3 – Demons vs. Knuckleheads

Demons get it started in this heavy weight matchup with a Tom Koezler RBI triple. Krysta Wellington brings him in on an RBI single and Ben Razzi knocks in two a couple of batters later on a two run single. Knuckleheads will respond back in the bottom of the inning with five runs. Mike Koezeler starts their scoring with an RBI double while John Kiefer, John Schofield, Jon Poore and Calvin Radcliff smack RBI singles. Demons grab another four runs. Jay Pane knocks in two on a triple while Pat Kelley blast a ball deep into the quarry woods. Knucklheads get another five runs in the second. Steph Farrar goes deep, blasting a two run bomb. Bill Brancato also smashes a solo homer in the inning. The ball continues to fly as Demons bat around and push nine runs across. Greta gets into the action with a two run single, while Koezler touches them all with a three run bomb. Again, Knuckleheads answer, with eight runs. They also get into the homer party, with a solo shot from Jon Poore and three run shot from Bill Brancato. It seems as this game is never going to make seven innings with all these runs. PK will go deep two more times in the game, giving him three for the game. Knuckleheads will get hot late and come up clutch to take the lead and keep it. Matt Bookerheimer knocks these runs in on a triple as they hold off Demons push. Knuckleheads win 23-21.

Game #4 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Knuckleheads

The final game of the night gets started with an RBI single from Tom Finn. Brady Megal then smashes a three run bomb later in the inning as Crew jump out to a fast 6-0 lead. Knuckleheads will get one run back in the first, before they explode in the second. Chris Hackney and John Schofield had RBI doubles. Farrar, Bobby Hartzell and Keifer all had RBI singles in the inning. Crew will get hot again in the third, as they push six more runs across. Megal was back at it again, with an RBI double. Greg Rielly knocked in a run from a single and Larissa Motts knocks in two more runs on a hit. Six must be the lucky number for Crew, because they again score six in the foruth. Megal again, was in on the action with an RBI single, but the big shot was a missile sent into the words by Evan Porter, one of the furthest weve seen. Both teams would get a couple runs over the next couple innings as we head to the seventh. Crew will score one on a Motts RBI double as they lead 21-15. This time it was Knuckleheads turn to score six runs as that is what they would do. Bill Brancato would end it with a two run sac fly to tie the game. After all that, that is where this game ends. A 21-21 tie.
