Game #1 – Carroll’s vs. Wackers

Carroll’s get two across in the first inning with a John Zeits fielder’s choice and an error. Wackers respond with four runs of their own on a Lissa Tercha RBI single, Jason Figueroa RBI double and two run single from Dan Vescovi. Carroll’s answer with four runs of their own. Kevin Shinkunas and Sanket Kapadia both net runs. Carroll;s add another on a Mike Stacey sac fly in the third to lead 7-4. Wackers respond to take the lead in the third, pushing across four runs. Tercha was at it again, this time with a two run single, following by a Dan Vescovi RBI single. Both teams would flash some leather for the next couple of innings. Sarah Yoos and John Zeits net Carroll’s three more runs on a sac fly and single respectfully. Wacker match that and answer with five insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth. Alex Freeman smacked an RBI single in the inning. That would be enough in this one to hold off Carroll’s as they will take this one. Wackers win 14-11.

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Dug Out Demons


Knuckleheads strike first with an RBI single from Jon Poore and Mike Koezler. Demons quickly respond with a big six run inning. Pat Kelly, Tom Koezler and Ryan Goodman go back to back to back to start this off. Jake H also adds an RBI single as they take the lead. The gloves take over and the bats go silent for a couple of innings. We come back during the fourth inning. Knuckleheads add two with an RBI triple from Jesse Faller and fielder’s choice from John S. Demons get back to hitting bombs as they push across five more to put this out of reach. Pat Kelly starts the rally with a two run double, followed by a two run bomb from Tom Koelzer and solo bomb from Ryan Goodman. Demons will win easy and move on the chip by winning 12-5.
