Labor Day 1-Pitch Tournament / Fall 2022 / Manager Tandems

League members interested in drafting and managing a 1-pitch team for the upcoming Labor Day 1-Pitch Tournament (Sunday, September 4th, wood bat) should contact the league office ASAP. Managers will build their own team with help from league-supplied draft candidate statistics. Manager tandems must consist of a male and a female and will be accepted into the tournament on a first come, first served basis. The field will be limited to 8 teams. Two managing tandems will receive auto-invites from the 2022 Memorial Day 1-Pitch tourney-Jason Pane/Chelsea Detwiler and Zach Martin/Katie O'Toole. If you would like to throw your hat into the managerial 1-pitch ring, now would be a good time to do so.

Two 1-pitch manager tandems will NO LONGER be drafting/managing teams in this tournament. Kiefer/Burns can no longer attend the tournament. Martin/O'Toole will enter the body of the draft. We need 2 tandems from the body of the draft only, to step up and replace those 2 tandems.

John Erb and Erin Rening will team up and manage for the 1-pitch tourney. Justin Miller has stepped up and is willing to manage, but needs one of the girls on the candidate list to join him. Any takers? I bust my orbs each and every tournament to bring them to fruition. I don't need it to be any more difficult than it normally is and without a female managing partner for Justin, it becomes more difficult than it should be. C'mon now. Don't let me down. Someone needs to step up.

Each manager tandem has sent in a 3-digit number. This 3-digit number will be used in a lottery to determine tournament team numbers, draft order, and first round match-ups. The managing tandem with the 3-digit number that is closest to the PA Pick 3 number (plus/minus) will be Team #1. Using each of the remaining manager tandem's 3-digit numbers, we will move in ascending order from the winning number to determine the balance of the team numbers. 000 will follow 999.
