Game #1 – Wackers vs. Dug Out Demons

The first game gets going with a big inning out of Wackers. They will put up seven runs on a Bill Brancato RBI single, Lissa Tercha two run single and some errors in the field. Demons respond with two runs in the bottom of the inning on a Nonny double and then error and a solo bomb off the bat of Tom Koezler. Wackers get three more runs in the second on RBI singles from John Erb and Tercha as they continue to hit well in this one. Demons would go quiet for a while in this one while Wackers continue to hit well. Jarret Kerns adds three RBI’s on an RBI double and two run bomb while Bill Brancato adds another RBI on a double later in the game. Demons head to the bottom of the sixth trailing by 11 and needing a massive inning as it looks as though time will be an issue to play seven. Back to back RBI singles get them started from Ben Razzi and Lauren Wood. Nonny then steps up with a two run single, which both Jake Haber and Bill Shalcross match. Razzi gets Demons to within a run on a two run single. Nonny steps to the plate and wins this one in walk off fashion with a two run single as Demons steal this game. Demons win 12-11.

Knuckleheads will strike back in the fourth with five more runs. Fuller and Poore go back to back with two run singles. Crew would come alive late in the game. Kevin Motts and Selina Alicea deliver the damage with an RBI single and two run single.
