Game #1 – Altek vs. Wehrung’s

Altek get an early homer from Casey Mahron to give Altek the early 1-0 lead. This was short lived as Wehrung’s gets three runs back in the bottom of the inning. Alex Poniktera and Wyatt Schilling grab runs on back to back walks while Jillian Moninghoff nets one on a fielder’s choice. Altek will tie this up with a two run bomb from Nick Cataldi, but Wehrung’s again doesn’t wait long to answer. Erik Senderling nets one on an RBI single and Luke Hendricks nets two on a bomb deep into the woods. Wehrung’s will add a couple more runs in the fifth on a double from Moninghoff. Altek starts their comeback in the sixth, grabbing five runs. Cataldi smashes another bomb, this time a three run bomb and Scott Flaherty and Ray Derstine knock in runs on singles. Both teams will stand at nine a piece which sends us to extra innings. Altek will push seven runs across, highlighted by an RBI double from Kevin Swikla and two run single from Bob Wenner. Wehrung’s get four runs back, but will fall short in extra innings. Altek wins 16-13.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Altek

Carroll’s get going with three runs out of the gate. Greg Lesher starts it with an RBI double, followed up by a Bryan Bart RBI single. Altek will respond in the bottom of the inning with a two run bomb from Cwikla as they look to keep their bats active. Carroll’s grab another three runs in the third, getting back to back doubles from Lesher and Bill Shipe. Altek will struggle for the rest of the game only able to push across one run on a Shannon Flaherty RBI double. Carroll’s will keep their pressure on. Lesher smashes a three run bomb in the foufth and Bob Mclintock smashes a two run double as they will win this one easy. Carroll’s win 12-3.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Jive Turkeys

Jive Turkeys come out firing with a Chris Warner RBI single and Ricky Henning two run double as they take a 4-0 lead early. Turkeys will get another run in the third before Demons get on the board in the fourth. TK will get them on the board with a rocket deep into the woods. Lauren Wood would also add a run on a single later in the inning. Demons have a big fifth inning as they come back and take the lead. Jason Pane smashes a two run bomb, which is then matched by TK a couple of batters later. L Wood was back at it again, giving them the lead. Demons would shut it down defensively and hold on in this one. Demons win 7-6.
