Quarry

Game 1: Pigeon Boyz vs. Dirty Dozen

Brandon Birkhead and KC Ingram smash homers for PB in the top of the first. DD answers with five runs in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles by Brian Dart, John Erb, and Ross Anderson. Mike Bitterlich, Shane, Hanna, and sub Jon Poore jack homers for PB in the top of the second as THIRTEEN runs cross the plate. Brandon Birkhead launches his third homer of the game for PB in the top of the fourth. Singles lead to three runs for DD in the bottom of the fourth. A Brian Dart leadoff triple nets DD a run in the bottom of the fifth. The Pigeon Boyz beat down Dirty Dozen, 25-9.

Game 2: Pigeon Boyz vs. Silverbacks

KC Ingram jacks a three run homer for PB in the top of the first. The Silverbacks answer with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to RBI doubles by Jamal Covington and DJ Ellars. Shane Hanna jacks a solo homer in the top of the second. Jamal Covington smokes a two run triple for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the second. Three runs come in for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the third. PB puts up five runs in the top of the fourth with a two run double by Jon Poore, and a Brandon Birkhead two run homer. Ari Silverstein jacks a solo homer for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth. PB bats around in the top of the sixth to score four runs with a triple by Mike Bitterlich, and a Brandon Birkhead three run homer. Shane Hanna knocks another solo homer for PB in the top of the seventh. The Silverbacks rally for a run in the bottom of the seventh. The Pigeon Boyz out slug the Silverbacks, 21-12.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

Vertex gets four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to homers by Sean Nonemacher and Matt Schaub. Vertex picks up six runs in the bottom of the third with doubles by Frank Staber and Steve Stoneback, and homers by Matt Schaub and Chris Beatty. DC gets on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs thanks to an RBI triple by Bryan Peterman. Vertex gets four runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles, and a CJ Snyder RBI double. Vertex takes out the Doom Cats, 17-1.

Game 4: Vertex vs. Wolf Pack

Matt Schaub jacks a two run homer for Vertex in the top of the first. Brendan McCoy launches a two run homer for WP in the bottom of the first. Vertex bats around in the top of the second to pick up eight runs on singles, and triples by Chris Beatty and Steve Stoneback. Vertex puts up six runs in the top of the third, courtesy of RBI triples by Sean Nonemacher and Mat Crowell, and another Matt Schaub two run homer. Brendan McCoy jacks a solo homer for WP in the bottom of the third. Vertex scores eight more runs in the top of the fourth with singles, and doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Matt Schaub, and Chris Beatty. WP rallies for three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Vertex makes quick work of the Wolf Pack, 20-8.

Cedar Hill

Game 1: Ball Busters vs. Bird Gang

BB scores five runs in the top of the first thanks to back to back doubles by Drew Parker and Jay Stein. BH answers with two runs in the bottom of the first with a Colton Hooker two run triple. Drew Parker smokes a two run triple for BB in the top of the second. BB gets five runs in the top of the fifth with a two run double by Drew Parker, and a Tyler Cohen triple. Justin Huber rips an RBI double for BG in the bottom of the fifth. BB pushes seven runs across in the top of the seventh on singles, and a two run triple by Mike Maredine. BG rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles, and a Jason McLaughlin double. The Ball Busters double up on Bird Gang, 22-11.

Game 2: Bird Gang vs. Ball Busters

BG gets two runs in the top of the first. Justin Knapp rips an RBI double for BB in the bottom of the first. Doubles by Mark Rothenberger and Kavit Salanki help BG score three runs in the top of the second. Singles lead to four runs for BB in the bottom of the third. Walks net BG three runs in the top of the third. BB adds six runs in the bottom of the fourth BG plates six runs in the top of the sixth with doubles by James McLaughlin and Mark Rothenberger, and a Joey Pittman two run triple. The Ball Busters squeak by Bird Gang, 17-16.

B South

Lukens III

Game 1: Isotopes vs. Birds of War

The Isotopes bat around in the top of the first to get THIRTEEN runs on walks, singles, and doubles by Shawn Mitkus and Keith Youse. Zach Schrum smokes an RBI triple for BOW in the bottom of the first. The Isotopes add four runs in the top of the second. BOW bats around in the bottom of the second to score six runs on singles, an RBI double by Zach Shrum, and a Jay Cowan two run triple. The Isotopes score four runs in the top of the fifth on walks and singles. Walks, singles, and a two run double by Tom Bush help BOW push eight runs across in the bottom of the fifth. The Isotopes picks up five more runs in the top of the sixth thanks to a Ryan Greenberg RBI double, and a Colin Snyder triple. BOW rallies for ELEVEN runs in the bottom of the sixth on two run doubles by Tom Bush and Jay Cowan, and a walk off grand slam by Ayden Hendricks. Birds of War win in dramatic fashion over the Isotopes, 29-27.

Game 2: Christian CC vs. Birds of War

BOW bats around in the bottom of the first to put up ELEVEN runs on a whole lot of walks and a two run double by Zach Schrum. A leadoff triple by Joe Pepe helps BOW score two runs in the bottom of the second. BOW bats around again in the bottom of the fourth to pick up six runs on walks and singles. Birds of War shuts out Christian CC, 20-0.

Game 3: Christian CC vs. Mud Dogs

CCC takes the early lead with three runs in the top of the first. MD answers with a run in the bottom of the first. CCC bats around in the top of the second to plate five runs with a Sean Thomas grand slam. Anthony Rivera rips a two run triple for CCC in the top of the fourth. Jason Figueroa jacks a grand slam for MD in the bottom of the fifth. MD bats around in the bottom of the sixth to plate eight runs on walks, and a Matt Figueroa two run triple. CCC rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh. The Mud Dogs out slug Christian CC, 18-16.

Cedar Hill

Game 3: Rolling Rock vs. Vikings

The Vikings get three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to a double by Jake Sinkowski, and a Jake Gladish two run triple. The Vikings bat around in the bottom of the third to score TEN runs on singles, and a two run triple by Jake Sinkowski. RR gets on the board in the top of the fourth thanks to a leadoff double by Joe Kindt. Back to back doubles by Justin Mahmde and Joe Kindt lead to four runs for RR in the top of the fifth. RR bats around in the top of the sixth to score seven runs with a Joe Kindt two run triple. Triples by Joe Kindt and Matt Rountree help RR add three runs in the top of the seventh.

Game 4: The Naturals vs. Do Work

TN picks up a run in the top of the first. DW bats around in the bottom of the first to score eight runs on singles, and a two run triple by Kevin O’Donnell. TN plates four runs in the top of the second thanks to a double by Glen Hipple, and a Rob Wardrop RBI triple. Back to back doubles by Nick Pigott and Rob Worthington net DW two runs in the bottom of the third. DW adds four runs on singles in the bottom of the fourth. Singles net TN two runs in the top of the fifth. Nick Pigott jacks a solo homer for DW in the bottom of the fifth. Do Work tops The Naturals, 19-11.
