Game #1 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Quality Landscape

Crew come out with a mission as they will bat around twice in the first inning. Jon Motts starts the scoring with a three run bomb, followed by RBI singles from Jonathan Duchette, Keving Motts, Tom Finn and Justin Ruth. The whole team will continue this trend as they put up 19 runs in total. Greg Reilly added a two run double as well. Quality gets two runs back on RBI singles from Brian Blomgreen and Tom Connell Sr, but it is a rough go for Quality in this one. Quality would end up putting up three more runs across the next couple of innings, but would end up falling big time due to mercy rule. Brady Megel would add a solo bomb later in the game for Crew as they win easy. Crew wins 25-5.

Player of the Game:
Jon Motts (Crew) – 3/4, HR, 4 RBI’s

Game #2 – Quality Landscape vs. Hattricks

The second game of the night gets started with two runs from Hattricks on an RBI double and single from Eric Rosenblum. Quality will get one run back in the second on a solo bomb from Phil McCusker. Hattricks quickly get that run back on a sac fly from Paul Hensler. Hatrricks puts up a five spot in the third on RBI singles from Ed Reynolds and Eric Rosenblum as well as RBI doubles from Rob Schuh and Eric Stalford. Again, Quality gets a couple of runs back, on a two run single from McCusker, he continues to swing well in this one. Hattricks put this one away with four more runs in the fifth. Stalford was back at it with a two run double. Quality will come up late with a big inning getting six runs in the seventh. Ragan Ebersole smashes a two run double and McCuler with an RBI triple, but they would come up short. Hatrricks win 12-9.

Player of the Game:
Erik Stalford (Hattricks) – 2/3, 2 2B’s, 3 RBI’s

Game #3 – Flour Power vs. Altek

Matt Mannino gets this game rolling with a two run single followed by a Justin Lungo fielder’s choice. Altek respond in the bottom of the inning with a Kevin Cwikla two run single and Tony Luizza RBI single. Altek grab four more runs in the second with another Cwikla hit, this time a two run triple. Luizza also knocks in another run on a double. Ray Derstine gets into the action with an RBI single. Flour Power grabs two runs in the second on Mark Sivel two run single and then grab five more runs in the fourth on a two run single from CJ Reed and Jared Saias RBI triple. Tyler Beck also netted Flour Power a run on a fielder’s choice. Unfortunetly for Flour Power, there bats would dry up and they would not be able to push any more runs across. Altek holds out for the win. Altek wins 13-11.
