Game #1 – Quality Lanscaping vs. Jive Turkeys

Jive Turkeys break out the first lead with a sac fly from Bridget Birkhead after Cam Komonchak starts the inning with a triple. Quality will get one run back on a Rayan Ebersole RBI double. Jive Turkeys again take the lead in the third inning. Birkhead delivers again, this time an RBI single. Quality takes the lead in the fourth grabbing four runs. Patrick Smith starts the scoring with an RBI double followed by a two run bomb from Phil McCusker. Brian Bloomgren also drives in a run on a single. Turkeys will get one run back on a Brian Stella solo bomb and then get another run on a Chris Farrell RBI single. That is where there scoring would end and Quality would end up walking away with a win in a low scoring game. Quality wins 6-4.

Player of the Game:
Phil McCusker (Quality) – 2/3, HR, 2 RBI’s



Game #2 – Muckdogs vs. Hattricks

Second game of the night gets rolling with a Tony Cabot two run double. Mike Zahradnick also grabs two runs on an RBI single. Hattricks get two runs back in the bottom of the inning on a Rob Schuh double. Roger Ayala strikes for Muckdogs in the top of the second with a two run bomb. Again, Hattricks answer, this time with RBI singles from Zac Talmadge and Bob Kolecki. The game will stand tied after three, with Hatrricks getting RBI singles from Schud and Erik Stalford. Muckdogs would get two more runs in the fourth on an RBI double from Eric Schade and RBI single from Cabot, but their bats would then go cold. Hattricks strike in the fifth with five runs, three of which coming on a Stalford bomb. That proves to be enough in this one and will take the dub. Hattricks win 12-9.

Game #3 – Carroll’s vs. Flour Power

Carroll’s strike first with a Bryan Bart RBI single. Carroll’s will push this lead up to four after sac flies from Sara Yoos and John Zeits as well as an RBI single from Kevin Shinkunas. Flour Power comes back with two runs in the bottom of the second on an RBI single from Amanda Dreisbach and Chris Lanto RBI double. Carroll’s keep the pressure on in the third with four more runs. Steve DiGiovanni grabs two runs with a double and John Zeits knock in one more on a sac fly. The gloves and defensive play dominates the game up until the sixth inning when Carroll’s add to their lead. Zeits knocks in another run on a sac fly and Shinkunas, Bill Shipe and Kelly Gallagher all add runs on singles.
