Game #1 – Maize vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Crew bat around in the first game scoring six runs in total. Carl Motts gets the first run, followed by a Jon Duchette RBI single and Kevin Motts two run single. Crew will net seven more runs in the next two innings. CJ Motts had an RBI double as well as Brady Mengal knocks in a run on a double. Kevin Motts will net a run on a double as well. Maize have no answer to Crew and put up no runs through three innings. Crew will bat around again, this time getting on the homer train to increase their lead. CJ Motts cranks a three run bomb while Brady Mengal smashes a two run bomb. Maize will get a two run bomb out of Aaron Worthington, but that won’t be enough in this one as they will fall. Crew wins 20-7.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Hattricks

Hattricks get three runs in the bottom of the first to take a two run lead. Ed Reynolds get a run on a single, followed by a run on a Rob Schuh double. Zac Talmadge will net one more run on a sac fly. Carroll’s will bat around in the third inning and get eight runs. Kelly Gallagher nets two runs on a double while Bob McClintock, Steve DiGiovanni and John Zeits have RBI singles. Erik Stalford gets a couple of runs back in the bottom of the inning on a two run double. Eric Rosenblum then gets another run back in the following inning for Hatrricks. Carroll’s quickly fight back with more runs. Carroll’s get a four run sixth as they will pull away for the last time and win this one. Hallie Bilker netted two runs on a single. Carroll’s win 15-10.
