Game 1: Ball Busters vs. Pigeon Boyz

BB takes the early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Shane Hannah blasts a two run homer for PB in the bottom of the third. BB puts up four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to singles, and a Brandon Parker double. A KC Ingram triple helps PB score two runs in the bottom of the fourth. PB puts up five runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to back to back homers by Brandon Birkhead and Mike Bitterlich. Back to back doubles by Shane and Ken net BB two runs in the top of the sixth. BB adds two runs in the top of the seventh with an Andrew Parker double. PB rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh on a triple by Mike Bitterlich, and a KC Ingram solo homer. The Ball Busters squeak by the Pigeon Boyz, 12-11.

Game 2: Bird Gang vs. Doom Cats

BG takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. DC answers with a run in the bottom of the first. DC plates five runs in the bottom of the third with RBI doubles by Tom Koelzer, Troy Wasserman, and Chad Peterman. A leadoff triple by James McLaghlin helps BG get a run in the top of the fifth. Troy Wasserman jacks a solo homer for DC in the bottom of the fifth. The Doom Cats take care of Bird Gang, 10-2.

Game 3: Ball Busters vs. Vertex

Doubles by Eric C, Brendan P, and Jay S lead to three runs for BB in the top of the first. Vertex answers with three runs on singles in the bottom of the first. A leadoff triple by Neal Hebert nets BB a run in the top of the second. Doubles by Matt Schaub and Dan C help Vertex pick up the runs in the bottom of the third. Vertex adds two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Vertex gets by the Ball Busters, 8-6.

Game 4: Doom Cats vs. Wackers

Jon Poore smashes a two run homer for DC in the top of the first. The Wackers get on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second thanks to an RBI double by Todd Gibson. Jon Poore launches a solo homer for DC in the top of the fourth. Singles lead to three runs for DC in the top of the fifth. Jon Poore jacks his third homer of the game for DC in the top of the seventh. The Doom Cats take down the Wackers, 10-2.

B South

Hatfield

Game 1: Mud Dogs vs. Vikings

MD takes an early lead with two runs in the top of the first on a double by Jason Figueroa, and a Josh Figueroa triple. The Vikings answer with two runs in the bottom of the first on walks and singles. Jake S rips an RBI double for the Vikings in the bottom of the third. MD rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh with doubles by Brian Figueroa and Tony Figueroa. In the bottom of the seventh the Vikings manage to score the tying and game winning runs with Corey Van Fossen producing the big hit. The Vikings walks it off over the Mud Dogs, 8-7.

Game 2: Rolling Rocks vs. Do Work

Scott Chimura smokes a two run homer for DW in the bottom of the first. Singles lead to three runs for RR in the top of the third. Kevin O’Donnell smashes a three run homer for DW in the bottom of the third. DW adds five runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles, and a three run double by Rob Worthington. Four runs cross the plate for RRin the top of the fifth thanks to doubles by Matt Roundtree and Joe Kindt. Jake Hobernstein launches a three run homer for DW in the bottom of the sixth. Joe Kindt blasts a three run homer for RR in the top of the seventh. Do Work out slugs the Rolling Rocks, 16-10.

Game 3: Vikings vs. The Naturals

A leadoff double by Glen Hipple nets TN a run in the bottom of the first. The Vikings get on the board with a run in the top of the second. TN bats around in the bottom of the second to score eight runs with a Tim Macrone grand slam. A leadoff double by Jake Gladish leads to a run in the top of the third. TN bats around again in the bottom of the third to plate seven runs on walks, a Partha Patel RBI double, and a three run triple by Mike Z. TN gets another six runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Naturals destroy the Vikings, 22-2.

Game 4: Do Work vs. Birds of War

Scott Chimura blasts a three run homer for DW in the top of the first. BOW bats around in the bottom of the third to score ELEVEN runs on walks, singles, and doubles by Tom Bush, Jay Cowan, and Andy Snyder. Andy Snyder rips a two run homer for BOW in the bottom of the fourth. BOW adds five runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles. Dan Streeter smashes a three run homer for DW as five runs cross the plate in the top of the sixth. Jay Cowan and Andy Snder smoke back to back homers for BOW in the bottom of the sixth. Birds of War beats down Do Work, 25-10.
