Apologies on the delay, I thought I had posted all these.

Game #1 – Jive Turkeys vs. Carroll’s

Cam the man Komonstak gets this game rolling grabbing a run on a fielder’s choice following by a Nick A RBI double and Andrew F sac fly. Carroll’s wait a couple of innings in the third and strike with a two run double. Jive don’t like that and grab one more run on a Brian S single as they keep their two run lead heading into the fifth. Carroll’s will take the lead in the fifth on a Sarah Yoos RBI single and Greg Lesher RBI double. Jive Turkey’s wait until the seventh to get rolling again. They get back to back bombs off the bat of Nick A and Andrew F to take the lead again. Carroll’s will go down in the bottom half of the inning without a fight and will fall in this one. Jive wins 6-5.

Player of the Game:
Nick A (Jive Turkeys) – 2/3, 2B, HR, 2 RBI’s

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Dug Out Demons

Demons come out balling with seven runs across the first two innings. Greta Sheridan had an RBI single and two run triple in the two innings while Justin D, Tom Koezler, Ben Razzi and Phil Black all had RBI single. Knuckleheads get a run back on a solo bomb off the bat of Mike Koezler. Jess Faller and Bobby H grab RBI triples for Knuckleheads in the third, before Demons stepped up with three runs of their own. Jay Pane had a two run triple and Black had another RBI single. Demons get three more runs in the fourth to take a 13-6 lead after four innings of play. Knuckleheads wake up in the seventh and get another bomb, this time a two run bomb from Koezler, who continues to hit well in this one. Jamie Burns also adds an RBI double later in the inning. This would not be enough though as Demons will hold on and win this one. Demons win 14-9.

Player of the Game:
Phil Black (Demons) – 3/3, 3 RBI’s

Game #3 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Wackers

The first inning would prove to be a long inning for both teams. Crew will roll out first and bat around for five runs. Brady M and Carl Motts had back to back RBI singles and Selina Alicea had a bases clearing hit later in the inning. Wackers respond with five runs of their own. Jarret Kerns, Bill Brancato and John Erb had three straight RBI singles and Dennis added one a couple of batters later. Crew would keep their hitting up in the second with a three run bomb off the bat of Brady M. Wackers get two runs back on a Frank Fusca double, but they still trail by two. Crew keep the pedal to the floor and get six more runs in the third. Larissa Motts knocks in two runs on a double, while Brady M and Carl Motts knock in a run with a triple and single respectfully. Wackers will really cool down getting one run on a Brancato sac fly in the fourth, but then would go completely cold. Crew keep their bats rolling and will take this one easy, adding another five runs later in the game. Crew win 20-11.
