Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Dug Out Demons

Knuckleheads come out trying to take an early lead in this playoff game getting a run on a Steph Farrar sac fly and Bobby Hartzell single. Demons will answer immediately with five runs of their own. Bill Shallcross had an RBI single while Ben Razzi crushes a three run bomb. Demons get four more runs in the second with a Shallcross two run single and Jay Pane two run bomb. They take a commanding 9-2 lead after two innings of play. Knuckleheads go silent for an inning before they absolutely explode in the fourth. They bat around and push across 12 runs. Walks and singles paced the inning along with a two run single from John Kiefer. Demons now trail by four runs and look to spark up a rally again. Nonny is doing everything he can in this one grabbing a rally starting double in the sixth. Justin Demsey then drives him in with a double and he scores on a Shallcross single. The auto out in their lineup is really killing rallies tonight. Nonny grabs Demons another run on a triple in the seventh, but he would be stranded on the base path as Demons will fall. Knuckleheads win 15-13.

Game #2 – Wackers vs Mott-Ley Crew

Jarret Kerns get this game rolling with an RBI single, before shutting down Crew in the bottom of half of the inning. Wackers get back to it with four runs in the second inning on an Alex Freeman two run triple and Frank Fusca RBI single. Jon D and Lauryn G get back to back RBI singles in the bottom half of the inning. Wackers match the Crew and get two runs in the top of the third thanks to a Dennis D RBI single. Crew then grab another two runs again. Carl Motts and Brady Mengal grab the runs on RBI singles. Wackers start to catch fire in the fourth inning. Jack D clears the bases with a triple while Kerns adds another RBI single. They will keep it going into the fifth and sixth with five more runs. Freeman blasted a solo shot in the fifth, while Vescovi added an RBI single in the sixth. Crew bats go into the chiller and go ice cold. Brady Mengal will grab a RBI double and Kevin Motts will hit in a run on a single, but this is where there season would end.
