Let's Play Ball! Spring Season and 2023 Year Opening Day For Tuesday Men's!

Game 1: Just Food vs. Beers
Beers starts off hot scoring 3 in the first on a couple of singles along with doubles from Brian Donnelly and Josh Goldberg. They'll add another one in the 2nd on Chris Anhalt's double and Brian Delucas' RBI double. 5 more cross the plate in the 3rd, with a homer from Donnelly, a triple from Connor MacFarlane, and doubles from Kurt Krout and Anhalt. Beers will add 8 more runs in the 4th to make the score 17-0. Homers from Ryan Maley, MacFarlane, Nick Cocco, and Ryan Calabro, along with a Kurt Krout triple and doubles from Ryan Whiteley, and Delucas get the job done. For Just Food, a leadoff double in the first from John Bondo looks promising, but then they go down in order. Matty McReynolds smacks another leadoff double in the second to try to get things going, but Beers pitching strikes out the side. Just Food goes down in order in the 3rd, and then finally gets on the board in the 4th by scoring Joe Talerico after he singled with a bunch of singles and a RBI single from Dave Shannon. In the last inning, Just Food gets one on but can't get him home. Beers wins, 17-1.

Game 2: Dingers vs. Wire2Wire Sports Podcast
Dingers get 3 in the first on a Pete Auteri double and a Connor O'Keefe triple.They'll stay quiet in the 2nd and 3rd. Wire2Wire answers back with 2 in the first and 2 in the second. A Bill Brancato double and Adrian Reyes triple lead the way. In the top of the 4th, Dingers take the lead back with back to back doubles from Derrick Acker and O'Keefe. Not to be outdone, Wire2Wire explode with 11 runs in the bottom of the 4th. Jacob McDevitt triples, Bill Shalcross, Bill Walker, and Brett Anker all double. Dingers plate 2 more in the 5th with doubles from Pete Auteri, Bayley Jamanis and Derrick Aker. They'll add 3 more in the last 2 innings, with Eric Popple and Dan Blazek doubling, but it's not enough to overcome that 11 run inning that Wire2Wire put up in the 4th. Wire2Wire wins, 15-10.

Game 3: Fibby Busters vs Philly Junk
Fibby Busters is quiet in the 1st 2 innings despite Mike Bobrin's double, but scores 3 in the 3rd. They'll add 6 in the 4th, with Ian Cuozzo homering. Fibby Busters finish their scoring in the 5th, plating 2 for a total of 11 runs. Meanwhile, Philly Junk scores 6 in the 1st 3 innings, with Jason Ashworth doubling. They'll add 4 in the 4th with an Ashworth homer and doubles from Mike Testa and Pat Kelley. 2 more in the 6th will be enough to put Fibby Busters away. Tom Ivers doubles and scores. Philly Junk wins 16-11.

Game 4: Kings Corner vs. TBD
TBD starts off pretty slow this year scoring just 1 run in 4 at bats. Hits come from Matt McCarthy, Mike Kilkenny, Ari Silverstein, and Collin Sheehan. On the other side of the page, King's Corner scores in every one of their 3 at bats. 5 in the 1st, 7 in the 2nd, and 9 in the 3rd. Doubles come from Matt Crowell, Chris Beatty, Jason Pane, CJ Snyder, Frank Staber and Russ Miller. Justin Miller smacks a triple to go along with his 3 for 3 night and 4 RBIs. Jason Pane was also 3 for 3 with 5 RBIs. Kings Corner corners TBD and wins the game easily, 21-1.
