Purple Cobras vs. Wire2Wire

The Purple Cobras would start this game off strong plating five in the first inning with help from a one RBI double from Dan roman and a two RBI triple from Mike Corrigan. Along with offense the Purple Cobras would hold W2W scoreless with great defensive play till the third inning where singles from Ben Vitelli, Justin Glennon and Gene Butrica would net them three runs. Holding the lead 6-3 Purple Cobras would continue their offensive surge with another 5 runs. After a scoreless 4th for W2W, a leadoff double by Andrew Coates, would start another slug fest resulting in 3 runs, including B2B homers by brothers Dan and Brandon Roman. W2W would come through in the fifth scoring nine on singles and two separate three run homers by Matt Morgan and Ben Vitelli. Leading 14 to 12, Purple Cobras would get another two runs and additionally hold W2W at bay, PC wins 16-12.

One Hit Wonders vs. Palz

Palz would start this game strong with five runs in the top of the first, with help from a bases clearing double by Brett Broderick. OHW would respond with a solo run to close out the first inning. A triple from Pete Herbert would set up Alex Freeman to blast a two run homer to bring Palz total runs up to seven. The third inning we would see both teams net four runs. Palz would start the inning off with a b2b2b singles from the top of their lineup to ultimately score two alone on a Tom Jacob HR. OHW would respond thanks to a triple from Joey Grasso, a double by Dan Cripps, and a three run homerun by Colby Schoeller. Palz would keep the bats strong with another homerun in the fourth by Jordan Cohan, and five runs off base hits in the fifth. Down by nine runs in the bottom of the fifth, OHW would run out of gas, scoring five but unfortunately falling flat. Palz takes this one 18-14.

Dark Dogs vs. Docs Irish Pub

Dark Dogs came to play defense as they would hold Docs scoreless through the first four innings while respectively putting up nine runs in that span. DD achieved those nine runs off a plethora of singles , doubles by Jason Hudachek / Ryan Schock and a triple by John Hogan. Docs would pick up some momentum in the fifth with a three run blast by Austin Kooker to get some runs on the board. Additionally over the next two innings docs put up three more runs highlighted by a Paul Elliot triple. Scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth would seal the seal for Dark Dogs and push them over Docs Irish Pub. Dark Dogs 14, Docs Irish Pub 6.

The W Tavern vs. Docs Irish Pub

Docs would start with the sticks and abruptly put up eight runs off singles. The W Tavern could not match the offensive prowess and would be held to one lone run they earned in the fourth inning. Docs, however would score every inning. Two runs in the second, three in the third and ten in the fourth. A three run homer by Austin Hooker helped solidify the win for Docs as they would take this one, 23-1.
