Game #1 – Altek vs. Mott-ley Crew

Crew would come out early and often in this one as they put up a whopping 15 runs right out of the gate. Brady Megel smashes a three run bomb after Jon Motts knocks in a run on a double. Dan Geiger would add two runs on a single while Justin Ruth, Selina Alicea and Jon Motts would knock in another on RBI singles of their own. Altek gets on the board with an RBI single from Bobby Vine before Crew go right back to work. Geiger in the second nets two more runs on a double. Crew will explode again in the third inning. 11 more runs will cross the plate as this one is a blowout. Jon Motts, Mengal, Motts, Jr, Rielly and Ruth will all add RBI’s in the inning along with some errors. Crew win 28-1.

Player of the Game:
Brady Mengel (Crew) – 3/4, HR, 5 RBI’s



Game #2 – Maize at Winding Brook vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Eddies will get an easy one here as Maize will forfeit this one. Better luck next week.


Game #3 – Carroll’s vs. Quality Landscapes

Carroll’s start the scoring with a Greg Lesher with an RBI single followed by a Bryan Bart RBI double. Kevin Shinkunas then knocks in another run on a single of his own. Quality gets four back of their own with a Patrick Smith RBI single and Phil McCukser RBI double. Tom Connell Sr. then adds two more runs on a two run single. Carroll’s will grab two more runs in the second on back to back RBI triples from John Zeits and Sarah Yoos. Carroll’s will then blow up in the third inning as they bat around and put up 13 runs. Greg Lesher knocked in two runs on a single while Bob McClintock smashes a grand slam to do the big damage. Bill Shipe and Kevin Shinkunas also add runs on back to back doubles. Carroll’s will handle their business and put this game away in the fourth inning. Zeits, Yoos, Lesher and bat have four straight RBI singles as they will win this one in a big way. Carroll’s win 25-5.

Game #4 – Dugout Demons vs. Hattrick’s Sports Bar

Jay Pane gets the scoring started in this one with an RBI triple followed by RBI singles from Bill Shallcross and Casey Condron. Hattricks respond immediately in the bottom of the inning and get six runs of their own. Rob Schuh, Ed Reynolds, Stephanie Green, Ray Barry and Janice Tansits all have RBI singles in the inning. Singles will get them three more runs in the second as they hold a 9-3 lead after two innings. Demons get two runs back in the third on a Pane RBI triple and Shallcross RBI single. Zac Talmadge smashes a three run homer in the fourth for Hattricks as they hold a 13-8 lead after four innings of play. Demons will grab their first lead of the night in the sixth inning with a Cody Runner RBI double and Shallcross RBI single. Demons hold a one run lead as we head to the bottom of the seventh, with Hattrick’s up against it. Hatrricks load the bases on errors and singles and will ultimately walk off with a Emily Kline RBI single. Hattricks win 16-15.
