Game #1 – Altek vs. Knuckleheads

Knuckleheads get started first with an RBI single from Mike Koezler and RBI double from Matt Bookheimer. Neither team scores again until the third when Knuckleheads send four more runs across. John Schofield had a big hit with a two run single. Knuckleheads keep the pressure on with a three run bomb off the bat of Jon Poore in the fourth as Altek continues to struggle at the dish. Knuckleheads will put this game out of reach in the sixth when they put seven more runs up. Koezler and Poore go back to back in the inning while Jamie Burns adds two runs on a double. Knuckleheads will get the best of Altek today. Knuckleheads win 16-1

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. The Maize

Knuckleheads look to try and get rolling early in their second game of the day and do so with a solo bomb off the bat of Koezler. The second treats them much better pushing across seven more runs. Kiefer smashes a solo bomb, then a couple of batters later Katie Cherba knocks in two on a double. Chris Hackney will also push a run across on an RBI double. Knuckleheads will keep the pressure on in the next couple of innings scoring another 10 runs. Mike Koelzer is back at it again, this time smashing a three run bomb deep into the Hatfield woods. Bookheimer and Kiefer will also add runs on RBI singles as they lead 15-4 after four innings of play. Maize will grab a late run, but this game is controlled by Knuckleheads start to finish. Knuckleheads win 16-5.
