Game #1 – Eddies in the Outfield vs. Hattricks Sports Bar

This game gets rolling with RBI singles from Tony Oliver and Mike Marnoch as well as netting a couple runs on errors. After Hattricks puts up a goose egg, Eddies get right back to business with six more runs in the second. Dave Buonomo starts it with an RBI triple followed by an RBI single from Linda Dart. Lee Anderson then nets a run on a single of his own, before setting up Brian Dart for a two run triple. Russ Laughlin then rounds out the inning with a RBI single. Hattricks will grab a couple runs in the second and third on a Bob Kolecki RBI single. Eddies have a bad inning in the third, then erupt for ten runs in the fourth. Tony Oliver started it with a two run double, followed by a Mike Marnoch RBI double while Dart added another two runs on a single. In the end this game is all Eddies as they will take the game with a final score of 21-6.

Game #2 – Mott-ley Crew vs. Dug Out Demons


Crew come out swinging with four runs out of the gate. Larissa Motts starts the scoring with an RBI single setting up a big two run bomb off the bat of Brady Mengal. Demons can only manage one run on a sac fly from Bill Shallcross. Crew get back to it in the second with three more runs. Alex Lilly starts it with an RBI single and Greg Reilly ends it with a two run single. More of the same in the third from Crew netting five more runs. Tom Finn highlights the inning with a two run single. Ben Razzi gets a homer for Demons to net two runs, but they continue to struggle in this one. Jon Motts turns on the wheels and nets a run on a triple while CJ Motts and Selina Alicea brings in runs on singles. Crew walk all over Demons and win this one 21-8.

Game #3 – Wehrung’s vs. Wackers

Wackers come out and jump all over Wehrung’s right out of the gate to the tune of 15 runs across the first two innings. Phil Lipton starts the scoring with an RBI triple followed by a Bill Brancato two run double. Dan Vescovi and Jess Frelick had back to back RBI singles before than Kylie Flaghley knocks in a run on a RBI single of her own. In the second the wind starts to pick up big time, which aids a solo bombs off the bat of Nonny as well as a two run bomb from Bill Brancato. Frelick was back at it again too, this time with a RBI triple as Wackers lead 15-2 after two innings of play. Wehrung’s will have a big inning in the third, pushing seven runs across. Bobby Snyder nets two runs on an RBI single as well as Craig Arvich as they try to fight back in the game. Wackers get right back to the business after a big pep talk and push across 12 more runs across the third and fourth. This was highed by back to back to back dingers from Brancato, Freeman and Jack Demoulin. Wackers will runs away with a blowout and win 27-9.

Game #4 – Poco’s vs. Carroll’s

The last game of the night gets started with a four run first for Poco’s with a Jeff Kulp RBI double and Eric Shade two run double. Carroll’s grab two runs back on an RBI double from Bill Shipe and sac fly from Adam Roman. Poco’s get back to it in the top of the second with five more runs. Kulp was hitting it again, this time a two run triple. Mike Tkach adds a run on an RBI double, while Shade and Lynn Hand also add RBI’s in the inning. Carroll’s net seven back and tie this game up in the bottom of the inning. Shipe had two more RBI’s while Sarah Yoos, Greg Lesher and Adam Roman grab runs on singles. Carroll’s start to take control in the fourth with a massive 18 run inning. Shipe gets another run on a triple, before a Mike Stacey RBI single and Bob McClintock two run single. Lesher gets two runs on a sac fly and Kelly Gallagher will round out the inning with a two run double. Kulp will drive in two more runs for Poco’s, but in the end, Carroll’s will dominate this game. Carroll’s win 28-16.
