Game One: Cannoneers @ Dirty Dozen
Game one on the night was a low-scoring affair. Dave Fehr and Brian Wrigley each scored in the first for the Cannoneers. D12 answered with 3 runs by Andrew Alexander, Justin O’Brien, and Anthony Izzi. A series of singles in the 4th helped the Cannoneers build a lead that wouldn’t be overtaken. RBI singles by Mike Skrzat and Tom Gallo led the way to a Cannoneers 9-5 victory.

Game Two: Cobra Kai @ Balls Deep
Game 2 featured a much more explosive offensive game. The Kai’s Donnie Squartino drove in 3 runs and Ben Schweitzer had 5 RBIs. Tyler Gower and Jake Haber each scored 3 runs. Schweitzer and Squartino each blasted homers as well. Balls Deep got a 3-run homer from Tim Gluck and lead-off batter, Jayden Hurrey singled, doubled, and tripled. Balls Deep tallied 11 runs, but that wasn’t enough to hold off the Kai. Cobra Kai wins 21-11.

Game Three: Generals @ The Yard
Generally speaking, giving up 14 runs in the first inning is bad. The Generals did just that after scoring 1 of their own on a Chris Forester homer. He’d hit a 2nd homer in the 3rd inning. The Yard’s scoring sheet looks like a minefield… singles, doubles, triples, and Jon Poore and Tom Koelzer homers. Jose Rodriguez would cross the plate 4 times… which is almost as many times as the Generals' entire team. The Yard ends this one in 4 innings, 25-5.

***Shout out to scorekeeper, Fern. In the words of S. Carter, “A wise man told me don't argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can't tell who is who.”
