Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Bird Gang

A double by Ian Cuozzo helps the Silverbacks get on the board with a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks add a run in the top of the second. Singles net BG two runs in the bottom of the third. Errors lead to three runs for BG in the bottom of the fifth. Five runs cross the plate for the Silverbacks in the top of the sixth thanks to an RBI double by Phil Bandini and an Ian Cuozzo solo homer. BG rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. The Silverbacks squeak by Bird Gang, 7-6.

Game 2: Vertex vs. Bird Gang

A leadoff double by Sean Nonemacher helps Vertex get a run in the top of the first. BG answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on a triple by Jason McLaughlin, and a James McLaughlin solo homer. Back to back doubles by James McLaughlin and Justin H help BG plate a run in the bottom of the third. Vertex scores four runs in the top of the fifth on walks, singles, and a two run homer by Pat Kelley. Pat Kelly blasts a three run homer for Vertex in the top of the seventh. Vertex beats Bird Gang, 7-3.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

Pat Kelley jacks a two run homer for Vertex in the bottom of the first. Vertex puts up four runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and RBI doubles by Mat Crowell and Pat Kelley. Vertex picks up four runs in the bottom of the fourth on doubles by Pat Kelley, Chris B, and Steve Heath. A Chris Hackney RBI triple helps get DC on the board with two runs in the top of the fifth. Vertex pushes three runs across in the bottom of the sixth on singles, and a Pat Kelley RBI double. Vertex takes care of the Doom Cats, 15-2.

Game 4: Wolf Pack vs. Ball Busters

Back to back doubles by Anthony Perritti and Brendan McCoy get WP five runs in the top of the first. BB gets on the board in the bottom of the second with a run. WP bats around in the top of the third to pick up seven runs on singles, doubles by Dave Barth and Mike Bartasavich, and a Kenny Goodwin grand slam. BB bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score seven runs with doubles by Brendan Parker and Jay Stein. Anthony Perritti smashes a solo homer for WP in the top of the sixth. Shane Mulvihil smokes a bases loaded triple for BB in the bottom of the sixth. Mike Bartasavich rips an RBI triple for WP in the top of the seventh. The Wolf Pack out slug the Ball Busters, 18-12.

Carpenter

Game 1: Pigeon Boyz vs. Dirty Dozen

PB gets four runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Tom Ivers, Jason Ashworth, Jeremy Villano, and Mike Gilbert. DD answers with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a Matt Bookheimer RBI triple. Four runs come in for PB in the top of the second thanks to doubles by Shane Hanna and Jason Ashworth. PB adds three runs in the top of the fourth. Ross Anderson blasts a two run homer for DD in the bottom of the fourth. PB bats around in the top of the fifth to score six runs on singles. The Pigeon Boyz beat Dirty Dozen, 19-11.

B South

Cedar Hill

Game 2: Flour Power vs. Vikings

Zach Walsh rips a two run double for the Vikings in the bottom of the first. FP gets two runs in the top of the second. The Vikings add two runs in the bottom of the second. FP bats around in the top of the fourth to pick up five runs with a Jared Sais three run homer. Singles give FP two runs in the top of the sixth. The Vikings rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with a Corey Van Fossen double. Flour Power beats the Vikings, 11-6.

Game 3: Flour Power vs. Rolling Rocks

FP gets a run in the top of the first. A leadoff double by Dave Demko nets RR a run in the bottom of the first. Colin Donohe smashes a two run triple for RR in the bottom of the second. Chris Lento rips an RBI double for FP in the top of the third as three runs come in. RR bats around in the bottom of the fifth to score TWELVE runs on singles, doubles by Blake Margot, Josh Owens, and Collin Donohoe, a Collin Donohoe triple, and homers by Chris Hoisington and Harry Steglich. Justin Mahmde ropes a two run double for RR in the bottom of the sixth. Rolling Rocks destroy Flour Power, 20-5.

Game 4: Rolling Rocks vs. Do Work

RR bats around in the top of the first to score TEN runs on walks, singles, and an RBI double by Rob Worthington. DW gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. RR puts up four runs in the top of the third on a Joey Ferrrell RBI double, and a Rob Worthington triple. Singles net DW two runs in the bottom of the third. Chris Hoisington jacks a two run homer for RR in the top of the sixth. DW bats around in the bottom of the sixth to push six runs across on singles and back to back doubles by Scott Chmura and Luke Plummer. Four runs come in for RR in the top of the seventh on a two run triple by Collin Donohoe. Rolling Rocks beat down Do Work, 22-9.

Game 3: Isotopes vs. Stiff Sox

Paul Mizvitowiz rips an RBI triple for the Isotopes in the top of the first. SS bats around in the bottom of the first to plate ELEVEN runs on walks, singles, doubles by Anthony Crespo and Jim Kullmann, and a Brian DeLucas two run homer. The Isotopes add two runs in the top of the second. Doubles by Dan Poore and Keith Youse lead to three runs for the Isotopes in the top of the third. Singles get SS four runs in the bottom of the third. Paul M jacks a two run homer for the Isotopes in the top of the fourth. SS picks up six runs in the bottom of the fourth with a bases loaded triple by Nick Purshock. Jim Kullmann blasts a two run homer for SS in the bottom of the fifth. The Stiff Sox beats up on the Isotopes, 25-9.

Game 4: Isotopes vs. Mud Dogs

Zac Warren jacks a two run homer for the Isotopes in the top of the first. MD answers with FIFTEEN runs in the bottom of the first on walks singles, doubles by Brian Figueroa, David Rodriguez, and Daulton Pickering, and a Ben Daniels three run homer. A leadoff triple by Dan Wilson leads to a run for the Isotopes in the top of the second. Ben Daniels jacks a solo homer for MD in the bottom of the third. The Isotopes bat around in the top of the fourth to pick up ELEVEN runs on walks and singles. Paul M launches a three run homer for the Isotopes in the top of the sixth. MD bats around again in the bottom of the sixth to add nine runs on singles, and doubles by Ben Daniels, David Rodriguez, Joe Bradley, and Tommy B. The Mud Dogs out last the Isotopes in an absolute slug fest, 26-20.

Game 1: Christian Clout Chasers vs. Birds of War

CCC takes an early lead with a run in the top of the first. A Jay Cowan double helps BOW get on the board with two runs in the bottom of the first. Shane Harter rips an RBI double for CCC in the top of the third. CCC adds a run in the top of the fourth. BOW bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score four runs on walks, and doubles by Tom Bush and Jay Cowan. Birds of War doubles up on Christian Clout Chasers, 6-3.
