One Hit Wonders vs Purple Cobras
Starting with the sticks PC would plate four quick runs of singles. They would continue their momentum scoring five in the second thanks to a three rbi HR by Ty Allen. OHW’s Mike Trevino would grab a lead off triple to start the bottom of the second that would see them score two runs. Keeping their momentum PC would score ten runs in the next four innings thanks to home runs by Jose Villa, and Josh Pershing. Purple cobra’s offensive onslaught would be too much for the one hit wonders. PC 24 , OHW 5
The W Tavern vs Purple Cobras
Purple cobras looking to keep things cooking from the game before would score four in the first inning off singles and errors. The W Tavern would stay quiet going 3 up and 3 down. The second inning would fair better for the W Tavern as they scored five runs thanks to the bottom of their lineup. Behind for the first time of the day, PC felt the pressure and immediately scored two to regain the lead. PC offensive onslaught would continue with seven more runs over the next two innings . The W tavern would remain relatively quiet for the rest of the game until the final inning where they would plate five but ultimately fall short. PC 16 , W Tavern 12
The W Tavern vs Wire2Wire
This game would be all W2W, as they would only be held scoreless in one inning. Two runs score in the first inning due to walks and sac flys. An additional tens runs would score before W tavern would have a guy cross the plate. W2Ws Greg Guarino, and Jeremy Marshall would reach base safely every at bat while also scoring each time. W2W would take this one 18-5.
Wire2Wire vs Dark Dogs
DD score two in the top of the first off walks and errors. W2W responds with one of their own to limit the lead. DD plates five in the third off walks and errors again. W2W is silent for the next few innings. Dark Dogs decided to play smart softball and take walks in singles that lead them to a big six run sixth inning captivated by a Peter Burns grand slam. W2W would start to answer putting up a six run inning of their own, thanks to help by a three run homer from Bill Capper. Dark Dogs, staying hot, would score six to extend their lead in the seventh, back to back homers by Jim Walker and Paul Hardigg. Down by 18 W2W would make a push but fall short only playing six. Palz Tap House vs Docs Irish Pub
Docs would start off with a solo run first inning and shut down Palz to hold the lead. Quiet in the second, Doc’s would see Palz throw four runs on the board due to walks and singles. Palz would score six runs in the sixth to take the lead, thanks to seven strait base runners. Docs would score two runs thanks to back to back triples by Josh Keszczyk and Dylan Brooks but ultimately would not be enough to take down Palz. Palz 10 , Docs 6.
