Pitch please V Balls Deep

Everyone batted for pitch please in the opening frame, including Jeff McMahon who would mash his first of THREE HOMERS on the day. They scored 8 in the first. Balls deep was up for the task early as they scored 4 in the first and 6 in the third off timely hits. Leadoff man Trevor Harris was 4/4 and big willie Schulz added a grand slam in the third. All of pitch please’s top 7 dudes reached base 3 times or more and they hold off balls deep, 16-13.

Philly’s Phinest V swingers

Philly’s Phinest would plate 4 in the first thanks to 8 straight singles to start the game. They’d scatter 3 more runs thru the rest of the game to fight off a late 4 run 7th from swingers and hold on in this low scoring affair, 7-6.

Holding hands with hookers V Bomb squad

Holding hands started this one off cold, only scraping up 2 runs thru the first 4 innings. Ant Crawford made sure bomb squad would not be outdone today, compiling a triple, 3 run homer, and a grand slam. What a day! Gary brooks added two homers of his own for HH sparking the team on a comeback attempt late, with 9 runs in the 5/6 innings, but a scoreless 7th would leave them just short. Bomb squad holds off the hookers, 13-11.

Wild fire V web gems

Wild fire scattered a bunch of hits thru this one but never as strung together as they would’ve liked. Dante panna went 4/4 and chris amendolia was a homer short of the cycle. Web gems had the same issue thru the first five innings as this one was 5-5 thru 4. Gems finally had an inning where they got it going and matched their run total in the 5th thanks much in part to two homers from Arik Fenton. They would hold off wildfire, 10-8.
