Game #1 – Dugout Demons vs. Wehrung’s Lumber

Demons strike first with a solo bomb off the bat of Cody Runner. Roc Akers increases their lead to 2-0 with a sac fly. Wehrung’s will take the lead in the second inning with three runs of their own. Lowell Snyder knocks in two runs on a double. Wehrung’s will increase their lead putting up another three runs thanks to a Bobby Snyder two run triple and Luke Hendricks RBI single. We would have no more action until the fifth, when Demons bring the game to within one. Casey Condron smacks an RBI triple, while Ben Razzi had an RBI double. Homers will pace the sixth for Demons as both Ackers and Runner will homer as they take the lead. Demons will add a few insurance runs in the seventh and take this one late. Demons win 11-6.

Game #2 – Quality Lanscapes vs. Wehrung’s Lumber

Quality gets one run on an Alex Hoxey RBI single as they take the early lead. Wehrung’s will get two runs back on a RBI single from Bobby Snyder and sac fly from Hendricks. Wehrung’s will take three more across the second and third innings with a Kyle Hendricks RBI triple and two run homer by Snyder. The game stays still for a bunch of innings until the sixth when Wehrung’s explode. They end up pushing across eight runs. Kyle Hendricks had an RBI double followed by back to back RBI singles from Emily G and Jillian M. Steph Hines adds two runs in the inning on a double. Wehrung’s will avenge their game one loss and win this one. Wehrung’s win 14-2.

Game #3 – Mott-ley Crew vs. Carrolls Jewelers

Crew will get rolling in this one with four runs out of the gate. CJ Motts starts the scoring with a two run single followed by a sac fly from Brady Mengel. Crew will bat around and score nine in the second jumping out to a big lead early. Jon Motts will smash a two run triple, while CJ Motts, Greg Reilly, Alex Lilly and Justin Ruth have RBI singles in the inning. Dan Geiger also adds an RBI double in the inning. Crew keep it rolling with four more runs in the fourth. Brady Mengel drives in a run on a double. Carroll’s look to fight back and grab four runs of their own on RBI hits from Bob McClintock and Steve DiGiovanni as well as a two run double from John Zeits. This game remains all Crew though as they will continue to roll late in this game. Jon Motts grabs a late dinger and an RBI double as he has a big game. Crew win 23-9.

Game #4 – Hattricks Sports Bar vs. Carrolls Jewelers

Last game of the night gets rolling with an eight run first inning for Carroll’s. Greg Lesher starts the scoring with a two run triple following by an RBI triple from Bill Shipe. Bob McClintock grabs two more runs on a two run single. John Zeits will round out the inning with a two run single. Bill Shipe will keep it going for Carroll’s with a run on a double in the following inning as they lead 10-0 after two innings of play. Hattricks get on the board in the third with two runs. Ed Reynolds knocked in a run on a double and one on a single from Erik Stalford. They follow that up with a three run fourth inning. Paul Hensler and Bob Kolecki grab runs on RBI singles. Carroll’s will respond in a big way in the bottom of the inning with eight runs of their own as they close this one out. Bill Shipe continues his big game with a two run homer and RBI triple in the inning. Carroll’s win 18-5.
