Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Knuckleheads get going with a Steph Farrar hit to give them the early 1-0 lead. They will grab two more runs in the second on a Jamie Burns’s fielder’s choice and Tom Newell RBI single. Their lead is increased to 6-0 lead after a Jose Rodriguez RBI single, Jimmy Craig RBI double and John Kiefer RBI single. Eddies finally get on the board in the third with three runs. Lee Anderson and Brian Sauers have RBI singles in the inning. Eddies will capture the lead in the fifth after a big five run inning. Sauers, Mark Smith and Tony Oliver have RBI singles while Shawn Ortman knocks in two runs on a single. Knuckleheads will get that lead back for an inning, grabbing two runs on a John Schofield RBI single and Bobby Hartzell sac fly. Back and forth we will go, as Eddies will take the lead back in the bottom of the inning. Sauers will grab two more runs on a single and Ortman grabs two more runs on a double. Eddies would hold on this time and steal this game late. Eddies win 13-11.

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Crew will take the early lead in this one with five runs right out of the gate. Jon Motts starts the scoring with an RBI double, followed by back to back RBI triples from CJ Motts and Brady Mengel. Carl Motts and Dan Geiger will also add RBI’s in the inning. Crew up that again, this time with four runs. CJ Motts had a two run single and Mengal had an RBI double in this inning as Crew go up 9-0 after two innings. Crew will keep the pedal to the floor adding another five runs across the next three innings. Motts had another good inning, this time a two run single CJ Motts will close out the game with an RBI double as Crew will handle Knuckleheads easy in this one. Crew win 16-2.

Game #3 – Poco’s vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Poco’s get rolling with a Kyle Rizzi RBI single and Jeff Hess two run double as they jump out to a 3-0 lead. Crew will go down in the first inning, but will put up five runs in the fifth. CJ Motts continue his big day with a solo homer, followed by a Carl Motts RBI triple. Alex L and Jon Duchette will round out the inning with RBI singles as they lead after two innings. Crew add for more runs in the third on a Greg Rielly RBI triple and Brady Mengel two run bomb. Both teams will go cold at the plate until the sixth, when Crew will jump up with another big inning. Carl Motts and Alex L have back to back RBI doubles and later in the inning Selina Alicea and Jon Duchette have RBI singles. They will shut down Poco’s late and win this one. Crew win 16-8.
