Game #1 – Quality Landscaping vs. Dugout Demons

Demons will get the dub here as Quality doesn’t show up and gives them the free pass in the playoffs.



Game #2 – Altek vs. Poco’s

Poco’s strike first in the second grabbing four runs. Jamie Richards knocks in a run on an RBI single followed by a Tony Cabot RBI double, Lynn Hand sac fly and Jeff Hess fielder’s choice. Poco’s will grab five more runs in the fifth, thanks to an RBI single from Brielle Eve and grand slam from Cabot. Altek continue to struggle at the plate and can’t push any runs across until the fifth, when they strike for five. Chad Solomon had an RBI double while Kevin Cwikla, Adam Volpe and Brittany Lautenslager have RBI singles in the inning. Poco’s will add on some runs late thanks to a Jeff Hess two run triple as they will take the win and move on. Poco’s win 12-5.

Game #3 – Poco’s vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Poco’s come out firing looking for a seat in the championship. They will put up five runs in the first with a Cabot two run single and Hess two run single. Eddies will get three runs back over the next couple of innings, coming from a Brian Dart RBI single and a couple of errors. Poco’s will add on another four runs in the third. Cabot stays hot at the plate with a two run double while Lynn Hand added another on a single. Eric Shade adds another run on a fourth inning single before Eddies get there inning in. Eddies will put up seven runs across the fifth and sixth to bring this game to within one run. Mike Downy had a two run single, while Russ Laughlin smashes a grand slam. Poco’s will shut it down defensively and hold on to this one. Poco’s win 11-10.
