Game 1: Dirty Dozen vs. Bird Gang

DD takes the lead with a run in the top of the first. BG gets on the board in the bottom of the third with five runs on singles, a Matt S RBI double, and RBI triples by Colton H and Joey P. Matt B rips an RBI double for DD in the top of the fourth as two runs come in. BG adds four runs in the bottom of the fifth with a two run double by Jason McLaughlin. DD picks up three runs in the top of the sixth thanks to a Brian D RBI triple, and a solo homer by Ross A. Bird Gang squeaks by Dirty Dozen, 9-7.

Game 2: Doom Cats vs. Silverbacks

DC gets on the board in the top of the fourth with three runs on a triple by Zach Martin, and a Jay Pane solo homer. The Silverbacks answer in the bottom of the fourth with a double by DJ Ellars. DC bats around in the top of the sixth to score nine runs on singles, a two run triple by Mike C, and a Tom Koelzer three run homer. Ed O’Neil smokes a two run triple for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the sixth. DC bats around again in the top of the seventh to put up ELEVEN runs with a bases loaded triple by Eric Stark, and another Tom Koelzer three run homer. The Silverbacks rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI triple by Ian Cuozzo. The Doom Cats beat up on the Silverbacks, 23-9.

Game 3: Bird Gang vs. Pigeon Boyz

BG takes an early lead with five runs in the top of the first with an RBI double by Greg M, and an RBI triple by Fran B. PB answers with nine runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and doubles by Shane Hanna and Mike Gilbert. BG scores another five runs in the top of the third on singles. PB plates seven runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and RBI doubles by Shane Hanna and Jeremy Villano. Jason McLaughlin jacks a two run homer for BG in the top of the fourth. Greg M smokes an RBI triple for BG in the top of the fifth. PB adds seven more runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a Brandon Birkhead two run triple, and back to back homers by Jeremy Villano and KC Ingram. The Pigeon Boyz demolish Bird Gang, 29-14.

Game 4: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

DC uses singles to plate two runs in the top of the first. Vertex gets on the board in the bottom of the fourth with three runs thanks to a Pat Kelley solo homer. DC bats around in the top of the fifth to score five runs thanks to a three run homer by Jon Poore. Chris A rips a two run double for Vertex in the bottom of the fifth. Jon Poore jacks a two run homer for DC in the top of the sixth. Vertex rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. The Doom Cats take down Vertex, 13-6.

B South

Game 3: Birds of War vs. Mud Dogs

BOW picks up five runs in th top of the first on singles, and a two run triple by Andy Snyder. A double by Jay Cowan nets BOW a run in the top of the second. A leadoff double by Ben Daniels leads to a run for MD in the bottom of the second. Tom Bush rips a two run double for BOW in the top of the third. MD adds three runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to doubles by Ben Daniels and Joe Bradley. BOW picks up four runs in the top of the fifth with doubles by Brian Figueroa and Matt Figueroa, and a Ben Daniels two run homer. The Mud Dogs top Birds of War, 12-9.

Game 2: Stiff Sox vs. Christian Clout Chasers

Walks and errors lead to four runs for SS in the top of the first. CCC bats around in the bottom of the first to push seven runs across in the bottom of the first thanks to singles, and a homer by Josh Graef. Steve Collins blasts a solo homer for CCC in the bottom of the third. SS bats around in the top of the fourth to score five runs on walks, singles, an RBI triple by Jim Templeton, and a Chris Sanchez two run homer. CCC pushes five runs across in the bottom of the fourth on singles. Christian Clout Chasers gets by the Stiff Sox, 13-11.
