Tom Koelzer smashes a solo homer for DC in the top of the first. PB bats around in the bottom of the first to plate seven runs with a three run double by Ryan S, and two run homers by Brandon Birkhead and Mike Bitterlich. Jason Ashworth and Jeremy Villano launch solo homers for PB in the bottom of the third. DC bats around in the top of the fourth to score TWELVE runs on singles, a two run homer by Tom Koelzer, and a Tom Koelzer three run homer. Shane Hanna smokes an RBI double for PB in the bottom of the fourth. KC Ingram smashes a two run homer for PB in the bottom of the fifth. DC goes off in the top of the sixth to put up NINETEEN, yes, NINETEEN runs on a ton of singles, a a two run triple by Bryan Peterman, and a grand slam by Tom Koelzer. PB rallies for four runs in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a Brandon Birkhead three run homer. The Doom Cats hit their way to a game one win, 34-18.
Game 2: Pigeon Boyz vs. Doom Cats
PB plates a run in the top of the first. Jake Haber smokes an RBI triple for PB in the top of the third. Errors and a Mike Bitterlich RBI double net PB three runs in the top of the fourth. DC gets on the board in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a solo homer by Tom Koelzer. Walks and singles lead to three runs for DC in the bottom of the fifth. PB bats around in the top of the sixth to push across ELEVEN runs on singles, triples by Brandon Birkhead and Jason Ashworth, and homers by Jason Ashworth and Mike Bitterlich. DC rallies for five runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles, and a two run homer by Tom Koelzer. The Pigeon Boyz take the second game, 18-10.
Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Pigeon Boyz
Zach Martin jacks a solo homer for DC in the top of the first. Jimmy Craig smokes an RBI triple as two runs come in for DC in the top of the second. PB answers with five runs in the bottom of the second with a two run homer by Jake Haber. DC bats around in the top of the third to score eight runs on singles, and back to back homers by Tom Koelzer and Jon Poore. Shane Hanna jacks a solo homer for PB in the bottom of the third. Jeremy Villano leads off the bottom of the fourth with a solo homer for PB. DC adds three runs on singles in the top of the fifth. Five runs cross the plate for PB in the bottom of the fifth on back to back homers by Brandon Birkhead and Jason Ashworth. DC bats around in the top of the sixth to get eight runs thanks to a three run homer by Tom Koelzer. Shane Hanna smashes a three run homer for PB in the bottom of the sixth. DC bats around again in the top of the seventh to pick up ELEVEN runs on walks and singles. The Doom Cats smash their way to the third game win, 36-16, and the spring title. Congrats!

BOW bats around in the bottom of the fifth to score seven runs on walks, singles, and a three run homer by Andy Snyder. Kurt Krout and Maximo Sanchez blast solo homers for SS in the top of the sixth. BOW bats around again in the bottom of the sixth to pick up seven runs on more walks and singles. Birds of War beats up on the Stiff Sox, 22-10.
Game 4: Do Work vs. Mud Dogs
Jason Figueroa rips an RBI double for MD in the bottom of the first. MD plates seven runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles, and a three run triple by Tommy Brauer. DW finally gets on the board with a run in the top of the sixth. DW rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a Scott Chmura grand slam. The Mud Dogs top Do Work, 9-5.
