Game 1: Ball Busters vs. Dirty Dozen

A leadoff double by Jay Stein nets BB two runs in the top of the first. DD bats around in the bottom of the first to score four runs with a two run double by Pete Hilbert. Brian Biglin rips an RBI double for BB in the top of the second. DD bats around again in the bottom of the second to add six runs on singles, ann an RBI double by Brian DiCesare. Mike Marcelline smokes an RBI double for BB in the top of the third. DD bats around once again in the bottom of the third to pick up nine runs on sinlgles, a Brian Dart RBI triple, and homers by Roc Akers and Brian Dart. Three runs come in for B in the top of the fourth thanks to a two run triple by Justin Allen, and a Jay Stein solo homer. Singles and a Brian Dart RBI double by Roc Akers lead to five runs for BB in the bottom of the fourth. Dirty Dozen beats up on the Ball Busters, 24-9.

Game 2: Philly Junk vs. Silverbacks

Shane Hanna jacks a two run homer for PJ in the top of the first. Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for PJ in the top of the second. PJ bats around in the top of the third to plate seven runs thanks to a Brandon Birkhead two run triple, and homers by Mike Bitterlich and KC Ingram. The Silverbacks get on the board in the bottom of the third to pick up four runs thanks to a two run double by Brian Autenrieth. Brandon Birkhead smokes a three run triple for PJ in the top of the fourth. The Silverbacks rally for three runs in the fifth on singles. Philly Junk destroys the Silverbacks, 22-7.

Game 3: Bird Gang vs. Doom Cats

BG bats around in the top of the first to score five runs with a two run by Chucky Vik, and an Anthony Ciliberto two run triple. Tom Koelzer and Jon Poore jack back to back homers for DC in the bottom of the first. Doubles by Brendan McCoy and Jay Pane help DC add two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Zach Martin blasts a three run homer for DC in the bottom of the fifth. BG bats around in the top of the sixth to plate six runs thanks to singles and a triple by Chucky Vik. Brendan McCoy smashes a walkoff three run homer for DC in the bottom of the seventh. The Doom Cats beat Bird Gang in dramatic fashion, 15-12.

Game 4: Bird Gang vs. Vertex

A leadoff double by Joey Pittman nets BG a run in the top of the second. BG gets another run in the top of the third. Vertex gets on the board in the bottom of the third with doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Steve Stoneback, and a Bill Brancato two run homer. Bill Brancato smokes n RBI double for Vertex in the bottom of the fifth. Walks and singles net BG two runs in the top of the sixth. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the sixth to push TEN runs across on singles, a Steve Stoneback RBI double, and a two run triple by Chris Beatty. BG bats around in the top of the seventh to pick up six runs thanks to three run homers by Jason McLaughlin and Chucky Vik. Vertex tops Bird Gang, 18-10.


B South

Groveland

Game 1: Isotopes vs. Rolling Rocks

The Isotopes get on the board with a run in the top of the first. RR answers with a run in the bottom of the first. RR bats around in the bottom of the second to put up eight runs with three run homers by Chris Hoisington and Brandon Crockett. Paul Mizkowicz rips a two run double for the Isotopes in the top of the third. RR bats around again in the bottom of the fourth to add six runs on singles, and a two run triple by Randy Worthington. Four runs cross the plate for the Isotopes in the top of the fifth thanks to a Ray Savage RBI triple, and homers by Paul M and Vic Pagan. Josh Owens rips an RBI triple for RR in the bottom of the fifth. Paul M jacks a three run homer for the Isotopes in the top of the sixth. Doubles by Dave Demko and Brandon Crockett get RR two runs in the bottom of the sixth. A leadoff triple by Steve Schnell nets the Isotopes a run in the top of the seventh. Rolling Rocks out slug the Isotopes, 22-14.

Game 2: Palmetto Street vs. Rolling Rocks

RR takes the early lead in the bottom of the first with six runs thanks to singles, a triple by Chris Hoisington, and a Randy Worthington two run homer. PS gets on the board with a run in the top of the second. Singles lead to four runs for RR in the bottom of the third. PS adds two runs in the top of the fourth. RR picks up five runs in the bottom of the fifth on triples by Rob Worthington and Brandon Crockett, and a Justin Mahmde three run homer. PS puts up two runs in the top of the sixth with a double by Qualid Langenpach. Chris Hoisington jacks a two run homer for RR in the bottom of the sixth. PS rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. Rolling Rocks tops Palmetto Street, 17-7.

Hatfield

Game 1: Stiff Sox vs. Dead Ringers

A leadoff double by Jared Sais nets DR a run in the bottom of the first. Dan Stanl blasts a three run homer for SS in the top of the first. SS bats around in the top of the third to score seven runs on singles, and a double by Kurt Krout. SS puts up six runs in the top of the fourth thanks to a three run homer by Kurt Krout. The Stiff Sox smash Dead Ringers, 17-1

Game 2: Stiff Sox vs. Vikings

Tyler Fornwatt blasts a two run homer for SS in the top of the second. Back to back to back doubles by Anthony Crespo, Nick Purshock, and Kurt Krout nets SS two runs in the top of the third. SS adds two runs in the top of the fourth. The Vikings get on the board in the bottom of the fourth with three runs on a Mike Michini double. A leadoff double by Kurt Krout gets SS a run in the top of the sixth. Brad Milnes rips a two run double for the Vikings in the bottom of the sixth. The Stiff Sox get by the Vikings, 8-5.

Game 3: Bats All Folks vs. Vikings

The Vikings take an early lead with five runs in the bottom of the first on back to back RBI doubles by Mike Michini and Mike VanFossen. BAF gets on the board in the top of the second with three runs on walks and singles. The Vikings bat around in the bottom of the fourth to score seven runs on walks, singles, and a two run double by Kevin Smith. The Vikings get another three runs on singles in the bottom of the fifth. The Vikings make quick work of Bats All Foks, 18-3.

Game 4: Do Work vs. Bats All Folks

Derek Strowhouer smokes an RBI double for DW in the top of the first. BAF answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on a Kyle Mason double. Drew Kasiewsky rips a two run double for DW in the top of the second. Two runs cross the plate for DW in the top of the third thanks to a double by Scott Chmura, and a Craig Davis triple. Derek Strowhouer jacks a two run homer for DW in the top of the fourth. DW bats around in the top of the fifth to put up THIRTEEN runs on walks, singles, a two run homer by Scott Chmura, and a Derek Strowhouer grand slam. Do Work destroys Bats All Folks, 23-2.
