Game #1 – The Runs vs. Hattricks

The Runs will find it to be tough sledding in this one. Rebeccas Brennan will get the highlight with an RBI single representing the only run in this one. Hattricks are all over this one as they fill up the box score. Zac Talmadge and Shawn Arbogast knock in runs in the first inning, while Paul Hensler and Bob Kolecki knock in runs in the second inning, making this a 4-1 game. Hattricks open this game up in the third almost batting around twice. Eric Stalford and Ray Barry knock in two runs a piece on singles, before the whole team passes the bat with RBI walks and singles. Stalford adds three more runs on his next at bat with a three run bomb. They blow the doors off in this one and win in a big way. Hattricks win 23-1.

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Altek

Aaron Worthington starts the scoring with a two run single. Maize gets one run back in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single from Scott Flaherty. Both teams take an inning off before Gary Kleinschmidter knocks in two runs with a single. Worthington get back to it a batter later with a single of his own driving in a run. Altek will get back to within one run after RBI singles from Adam Volpe and Mike Moglio. The next inning is when Altek start to take control of this game. Tom Egitto, Wil Das and Kleinschmidter have RBI singles, while Christian Hazlett knocks in two runs on a single, totally nine in the inning. They won’t look back after grabbing four more runs in the fifth with more RBI singles. Egitto, Das and Hazlett were back at it with the singles in the inning. Altek will close this out with a Matt Bergenhagen two run double in the seventh as they win big. Altek wins 21-6.
