A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Doom Cats vs. Bird Gang

Mike Bartasavich rips a two run double for DC in the top of the first. Colton Hooker smashes a solo homer for BG in the bottom of the first. BG puts up three runs in the bottom of the third. Jon Poore and Brandon McCoy blast back to back homers for DC in the top of the fifth. BG bats around in the bottom of the fifth to get six runs on singles, a double by James McLaughlin, and a Jason McLaughlin two run homer. DC bats around in the top of the sixth to plate seven runs thanks to singles, a solo homer by Brandon McCoy, and a Jon Poore grand slam. The Doom Cats squeak by Bird Gang, 11-10.

Game 2: Vertex vs. Ball Busters

Vertex take an early lead with two runs in the top of the first. BB gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Andrew Parker smokes an RBI triple for BB in the bottom of the third. Vertex bats around in the top of the fourth to pick up nine runs on walks, singles, and a double by CJ Snyder. Vertex bats around again in the top of the sixth to push nine runs across thanks to singles, and doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Justin Miller, Frank Staber, and CJ Steiner. BB adds another run in the bottom of the sixth. Vertex beats up on the Ball Busters, 20-3.

Game 3: Vertex vs. Philly Junk

Singles give Vertex three runs in the top of the first. Shane Hanna jacks a two run homer for PJ in the bottom of the first. Two runs cross the plate for Vertex in the top of the third with a Frank Staber RBI double, and a Mark C triple. A leadoff triple by Chris B nets Vertex a run in the top of the fifth. Sean Nonemacher and Chris B rips run scoring triples for Vertex in the top of the sixth. PJ plates six runs in the bottom of the sixth on errors, and double by Jason Ashworth and KC Ingram. Vertex tops Philly Junk, 11-10.

Game 4: Silverbacks vs. Philly Junk

PJ takes the early lead with six runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and doubles by Jason Ashworth and KC Ingram. Shane Hanna, Brandon Birkhead, and Mike Bitterlich launch homers for PJ in the bottom of the second. The Silverbacks get on the board with four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to a DJ Ellars RBI double. Shawn Rush rips an RBI triple for the Silverbacks in the top of the fifth. Three runs come in for PJ in the bottom of the fifth on doubles by Mike Gilbert, KC Ingram, and Jake Haber, and a Mike Bitterlich solo homer. The Silverbacks bat around in the top of the sixth to pick up TWELVE runs on singles, and two run doubles by Carlos Gonzalez and DJ Ellars. Philly Junk out slugs the Silverbacks, 20-19.

B South

Game 1: Isotopes vs. Do Work

The Isotopes plate three runs in the top of the first on singles, and a double by Devlin Carey. DW answers with six runs in the bottom of the first on on singles, and a two run triple by Derek Strowhouer. DW bats around in the bottom of the second to score TWELVE runs on singles, and doubles by Drew K, Derek Strowhouer, and Kevin Gortz. Singles net the Isotopes two runs in the top of the third. Rich Zupkosky blasts a solo homer for DW in the bottom of the third. DW picks up six runs in the bottom of the fourth with back to back run scoring triples by Jesse Faller and Derek Strowhouer. Do Work smashes the Isotopes, 25-7.

Game 2: Do Work vs. Vikings

DW bats around in the top of the first to score seven runs on singles, a Tim Groves double, and a three run homer by Derek Strowhouer. A double by Stevve Skedz gets the Vikings a run in the bottom of the first. Back to back doubles by Mike Michini and Zach Walsh lead to three runs for the Vikings in the bottom of the third. DW bats around again in the top of the fourth to push seven runs across on singles, and a double by Jesse Faller. DW adds two runs in the top of the fifth. The Viking rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. Do Work takes down the Vikings, 19-8

Game 3: Stiff Sox vs. Rolling Rocks

Kurt Krout rips an RBI double for SS in the top of the first. SS plates two runs in the top of the third thanks to an RBI double by Tyler F, and a Nick Purshock RBI triple. Doubles by Nick P and Jim Kullmann helps SS get two runs in the top of the fourth. RR gets on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a two run triple by Harry Steglich. Nick P jacks a two run homer for SS in the top of the sixth. Walks and singles lead to five runs for SS in the top of the seventh. RR rallies for four runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles.

Game 4: Stiff Sox vs. Palmetto Street

SS bats around in the top of the first to get six runs on walks and singles. SS adds three more runs in the top of the second. A leadoff triple by Chris Schenk gets PS a run in the bottom of the second. PS scores two runs in the bottom of the third. SS plates five runs in the top of the fifth thanks to singles, doubles by Kurt Krout and Tim Templeton, and Tim Hilferty RBI triple. More singles net PS two runs in the bottom of the fifth. PS rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Stiff Sox beat Palmetto Street, 17-9.

Game 3: Dead Ringers vs. Bats All Folks

BAF takes an early lead with five runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and doubles by Bryan Huff and Nick Caville. Matthew Lewis smoke an RBI triple for DR in the top of the second. Singles help BAF pick up five runs in the bottom of the second. DR bats around in the top of the third to score TEN runs thanks to doubles by Jered Saies, Harrison Leal, Justin L, Randy Brymer, and Jake Blum, and homers by Jose Pittman and Matthew Lewis. DR adds three runs in the top of the fifth. DR plates four runs in the top of the sixth thanks to an RBI double by Steven Swartz and a Justin L solo homer. BAF rallies for two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Dead Ringers beat up on Bats All Folks, 22-12.
