Wild Fire V Holding Hands with Hookers

A back and forth affair all day, both teams came ready to play. HH’s Gary Brooks was 4/4 including a key double in a 5 run 5th inning. Down 12-10 going into the top of the 7th, holding hands would come up clutch scoring 3 runs to take a 13-12 lead into the bottom of the final frame. Bottom of the order up for wild fire. Pressure is on. Mark maria singles. Shusty gets K’d up. It’s up to vince “the fortified dump truck” cerriale. Already 3/3 on the day and what does he do? Sends a piss missile into oblivion. 2 run walk off nuclear shot. Wild fire wins it in electric fashion, 14-13.

Wild Fire V balls deep

After a slow start on both sides, balls deep would get extra base hits from Trevor Harris, Mike gallo, and a homer from tim frei to send 4 across the plate in the third. Frei would also add a triple this game. Wild fire would add another late inning flurry to try to mount a comeback, including another late inning homer by Vince cerriale. If you see that around the ball fields lately watch your feet. His plums are hanging real low with late inning homers. Nick Carl would add a homer of his own for balls deep late to seal the deal, balls deep would win 13-11.

Bye week V swingers

Bye week started off strong with 7 singles in the first plating 5 runs. Unfortunately they would total only 7 hits over the rest of the game and end it with 7 runs. Swingers came out swinging early and often. 3 in the first. A whopping 11 in the second. 3 more in the third. Everyone top to bottom had multiple hits. Brian close was an astounding 6/7. Clewell and chris close were on base 5 times each. Swingers surged and take this one easily, 28-7.

Felix’s fellas v balls deep

Leadoff schwarbomb by Niko Gonzalez set the tone for Felix’s fellas. Tim Frei would respond in the third with a homer of his own for balls deep. Balls deep just couldn’t string together hits like they normally do and managed just 5 runs in this one. David rodriguez would seal this one for Felix’s fellas with a late inning homer, sending his team to a 10-5 dub.

Felix’s fellas V Philly’s Phinest

Felix’s fellas started early getting back to back doubles and a couple singles to plate 3 in the first frame. Bill romano would add a homer to his doubles party in the third and Felix’s fellas would take a 10-1 lead into the final two frames. PP would show some signs of life and try to claw back into the game late, batting around and scoring 6 in the 6th, but it was too little too late and Felix’s fellas would take this one, 10-8.

Philly’s Phinest V web gems

Philly’s Phinest turn for a doubleheader as they would try to avenge themselves from an earlier loss. Mike rocks sr & jr would give the family something to talk about over Sunday dinner as they would hit back to back triples in the second inning, sparking what would be a monster 10 run inning. Not to be outdone by his seed, Mike rocks sr would be on base in all 4 of his at bats. Webs gems tried to cut into the deficit with a monster 3 run blast by Anthony izzi in the third, but 1 run in the final 4 frames would have web gems off pace and Philly’s Phinest would take this one, 17-8.
