Game #1 – Altek vs. Eddie’s in the Outfield

Eddies start strong with RBI singles from Mike Downey and Brian Dart as well as a Lee Anderson sac fly. Altek won’t grab their first run until the third with a Bob Wenner solo bomb. That would be it for Altek as they would struggle at the plate in this one. Lee Anderson get Eddies back to it with an RBI double. Brian Dart would get the home run train rolling with a two run bomb in the fifth. Anderson will also grab a run on a single. Eddies would explode in the sixth and bat around. Dart would go yard again, this time a three run bomb, followed by another RBI single, as well as a Mark Smith RBI double. Mike Marnock will also add a two run single. Eddie’s would cruise in this one. Eddies win 15-1.

Game #2 – Hattrick’s vs. Jive Turkeys

Ed Reynolds get rolling with an RBI single as Hattricks lead 1-0 right out of the gate. Jive Turkeys fight back in the bottom of the inning with a Bridget Birkhead sac fly, Brian Stella RBI double and Anthony Stella two run single. Hattricks will wait an inning and then get three runs in the third to tie this game up. Sam Nagle and Reynolds net a run on a single while Zac Talmadge knocks in a run with a double. Turkeys will again grab the lead in the bottom of the inning. Stella knocked in two more runs on a single while Andrew Mayhew knocked in a run on a sac fly. Turkeys keep it rolling in the fourth with two runs on a Fantasky single as this is a 10-6 game after four innings. Brian Stella smashes a solo bomb for Turkeys in the fifth. We fast forward to the sixth where Erik Stalford smashes a two run bomb for Hattricks, leading to the seventh where Hattricks will need a big comeback. Talmadge grabs two runs on a single and Reynolds adds two runs on a double, but they would come up just short and fall in this one. Turkeys win 14-12.

Game #3 – The Runs vs. Jive Turkeys

Turkeys will get their second game started looking for the same outcome as game one and grab three runs on a Brian Stella homer and Andrew Mayhen RBI single. The Runs will grab two runs back after a Nick Perricone RBI single. Runs will pull to within one after a Matt Kovaleski RBI single and an error. Stella will increase their lead again with a two run double. Turkeys, for the second game in a row, will get rolling later in the game. Stella continue his big day with a two run homer, while Matt Stevenson added a run on a double. Jason Exner will get two runs back on a homer, but Runs bats go silent late in the game and Turkeys will win this. Turkeys win 13-6.
