A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Bird Gang vs. Doom Cats

Errors and singles lead to four runs for BG in the top of the first. DC gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. BG adds a run in the top of the third. DC bats around in the bottom of the third to score TEN runs thanks to singles, and a two run double by Alex Peterman. Joey Pittman blasts a solo homer for BG in the top of the fourth. DC gets another run in the bottom of the fifth. DC picks up another insurance run in the bottom of the sixth. The Doom Cats double up on Bird Gang, 14-7.

Game 2: Dirty Dozen vs. Silverbacks

A leadoff double by Roc Akers nets DD a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks get on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Walks help DD plate two runs in the top of the third. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the third to push five runs across on singles, and doubles by Carlos Gonzalez and Brian A. DD bats around in the top of the fifth to pick up six runs on RBI doubles by Jim Lalley and Connie G, and triples by Roc Akers and Brian Dart. DD adds two big runs on singles in the top of the seventh. The Silverbacks rally for four runs in the bottom of the seventh on walks and singles. Dirty Dozen squeaks by the Silverbacks, 13-10.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

DC takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. Vertex answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. A double by Sean Nonemacher helps Vertex get a run in the bottom of the third. DC adds another run in the top of the fourth. Zach Marin rips a two run double for DC as three runs cross the plate in the top of the fifth. Vertex rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with Sean Nonemacher ripping the game winner. Vertex walks it off over the Doom Cats, 6-5.

Game 4: Dirty Dozen vs. Philly Junk

DD picks up two runs in the top of the first. PJ bats around in the bottom of the first to score five runs with a Shane Hanna RBI triple, and a KC Ingram three run homer. Todd Gibson blasts a solo homer for DD in the top of the second. Evan Porter jacks a three run homer for PJ in the bottom of the fourth. Jared T smokes an RBI triple for DD in the top of the fifth. PJ adds five runs in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a Mike Bitterlich three run homer. DD rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. Philly Junk tops Dirty Dozen, 15-7.

B South

Game 3: Isotopes vs. Vikings

Singles give the Isotopes three runs in the top of the first. The Vikings bat around in the bottom of the first to plate six runs on errors, singles, and doubles by Brad Milins and Mike Michini. A double by Devlin Carey helps the Isotopes add two runs in the top of the second. Keith Halili rips a two run double for the Isotopes in the top of the third. The Vikings bat around again in the bottom of the fourth to push five runs across on back to back triples by Neeb Negron and Brad Milins. The Isotopes bat around in the top of the fifth to score five runs thanks to singles, a double by Ray Savage, and an Angel Melendez RBI triple. A leadoff triple by Corey VanFossen gets the Vikings a run in the bottom of the fifth. Keith Halili smokes an RBI triple for the Isotopes in the top of the sixth. Will Doss rips an RBI double as three runs cross the plate for the Vikings in the bottom of the sixth. The Vikings out slug the Isotopes, 17-16.

Game 4: Rolling Rocks vs. Vikings

The Vikings bat around in the bottom of the first to pick up TEN runs on singles, a three run double by Eric Rosenblum, and a Corey VanFossen triple. RR gets on the board in the top of the third with four runs thanks to doubles by Randy Worthington and Ryan Thomas. A leadoff triple by Will Doss leads to a run for the Vikings in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Collin Donahue helps RR score three runs in the top of the fifth. Singles help the Vikings plate two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Back to back doubles by Blake Marott and Rob Worthington and a Harry Steglich triple nets RR four runs in the top of the sixth. RR bats around in the top of the seventh to put up TEN runs with doubles by Harry Steglich, Rob Worthington, and Brandon Crockett, and a Ryan Thomas three run homer. Rolling Rocks takes care of the Vikings, 21-13.
