Game 1: Dirt Dogs vs. Wackers
A leadoff double by Matt Abramson nets DD a run in the top of the first. Roc Akers and Bill Brancto smash back to back homers for the Wackers in the bottom of the first. Sean Nonemacher and Bill Brancato rip RBI doubles for the Wackers in the bottom of the third. The Wackers bat around in the bottom of the fourth to plate SIXTEEN runs on singles, and doubles by Lissa Tercha, Sean Nonemacher, and Roc Akers. The Wackers take the first game easily, 21-1.
Game 2: Wackers vs. Dirt Dogs
Bill Brancato blasts a three run homer for the Wackers in the top of the first. DD bats around in the bottom of the second to score eight runs on singles, and a Matt B two run homer. The Wackers pick up four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Roc Akers and Bill Brancato, and a Jackie Heim RBI triple. Five runs cross the plate for the Wackers in the top of the sixth thanks to homers by Bill Brancato and Brandon Roman. Roc Akers jacks a three run homer for the Wackers in the top of the seventh. Matt B smokes a solo homer for DD in the bottom of the seventh. The Wackers double up on the Dirt Dogs, 18-9, to take the second game and the summer A title.
B Finals
Hatfield
Game 1: Phanatics vs. Slap A Pitch
The Phanatics get three runs in the top of the first on singles, and a Brad Milnes RBI double. SAP answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on singles. Singles lead to four runs for the Phanatics in the top of the second. A double by Harrison Miller helps SAP pick up two runs in the bottom of the third. Harrison Miller smokes an RBI double for SAP as four runs cross the plate in the bottom of the fifth. Slap A Pitch squeaks out the first game, 8-7.
Game 2: Slap A Pitch vs. Phanatics
SAP gets on the board with two runs on singles in the top of the second. SAP adds a run in the top of the fourth. A triple for Brad Milnes helps the Phanatics get on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth. Harrison Miller rips a two run triple for SAP in the top of the sixth. The Phanatics add two runs on singles in the bottom of the sixth. Slap A Pitch wins the second game, 6-3, and the summer B title.
