Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Monsters & Menthols

HH takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. HH bats around in the top of the second to score seven runs on singles, and a two run double by Jason McLaughlin. MAM gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Ryan Goodman blasts a solo homer for HH in the top of the fourth. MAM bats around in the bottom of the fifth to put up TEN runs on errors, singles, and back to back doubles by Bill Brancato and Eddie Decker. A leadoff triple by Eddid Decker helps MAM plate two runs in the bottom of the sixth. HH rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh on a triple by Chase Luxton, and a Ryan Goodman two run homer. Hagan’s Heroes squeaks out the first game, 14-13.

Game 2: Monsters & Menthols vs. Hagan’s Heroes

MAM gets a run in the top of the first. HH answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Singles lead to four runs for MAM in the top of the second. MAM scores five runs in the top of the third on singles, and doubles by Roc Akers and Brian Dart. Ryan Goodman smashes a two run homer for HH in the bottom of the third. Bian Dart blasts a three run homer for MAM in the top of the fifth. MAM puts up four runs on singles in the top of the sixth. MAM keeps adding on in the top of the seventh with five more runs on more singles. Monsters & Menthols dominates the second game, 23-4.

Game 3: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Monsters & Menthols

MAM manages to get a run in the bottom of the first. HH bats around in the top of the second to put up eight runs on singles, a two run double by Ryan Goodman, and a Jay Muir bases loaded triple. MAM picks up two runs in the bottom of the sixth. MAM rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Hagan’s Heroes wins the third game, 9-3, and the summer championship in a four and a half hour marathon.
