Game #1 – Carroll’s vs. Jive Turkey’s

Carroll’s will strike first in this one grabbing three runs on a Kevin Shinkunas RBI double, Bob McClintock RBI single and Steve DiGiovanni RBI walk. Turkey’s will answer getting one back in the bottom of the inning on a fielder’s choice from Alex Fantaskey driving in a run. Turkeys will grab the lead in the third, after back to back RBI singles from Erin Stevenson and Alex Fantasky as well as a solo bomb from Pat Gallagher. Another homer would net Turkey’s another run, this time from Andrew Mayhem, as runs would start to prove hard to get. Defense would dominate the rest of the game, until Turkey’s add four insurance runs in the sixth. Gallagher nets two on a double and Anthony Stella gets one on a sac fly. Turkey’s take game one in honor of Casper Komon not being in attendance. Turkey’s win 10-3.

Player of the Game:
Pat Gallagher (Turkey’s) – 3/4, 2B, HR, 3 RBI’s

Game #2 – Jive Turkey’s vs. Carroll’s

Turkey’s pick up right where they left off in game one grabbing two runs on a Maggie Wunder two run double. Carroll’s wake their bats up a little bit and grab three runs in the bottom of the inning. Greg Lesher gets it started with an RBI double, followed by a Bill Shipe RBI triple and then Bryan Bart RBI double. Turkey’s get shut down in the second, but explode in the third for nine runs. Alex Fantaskey smashes a bases clearing douyblke, but the big damage was done by two homers by Andrew Mayhem, netting them four runs. He clearly brought the boom stick today. Carroll’s will get a couple of runs back, but yet again, her come the Turkey’s (less casper). Mayhem adds another RBI on a single, but they also get RBI singles in the inning from Anthony Stella and Erin Stevenson. Carroll’s will grab four runs late in the game, two coming off of a Mike Stacey bomb, but it would be too little too late in this one as Turkey’s will step up in Casper’s absence and cruise to a tile. Turkey’s win 17-10.

Pepsi’s all around in this one.

Player of the Game:
Andrew Mayhem (Turkey’s) – 4/5, 2 HR’s, 5 RBI’s
