Labor Day 2023 1-Pitch Tournament / Results

After losing a thriller in Game 1, Team 1 (Pane/Frelick) worked their way through the loser's bracket to the finals. Being down 9-4 in the 6th, they battled back vs. winner's bracket Team 4 (Wood/Lyons) to win in extra innings and force a 2nd game. Running on fumes with a slew of injured players, they dug down deep and opened it up to win 17-1 via mercy rule. This is the 2nd time in as many tournaments the Pane/Frelick tandem has garnered a 1-pitch crown from the loser's bracket- an unprecedented feat. Congrats to Team 1.
