Game 1: Ball Busters vs. Bird Gang
BB takes the lead with four runs in the top of the first on singles, and a two run triple by Andrew Parker. BG answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Jay Stein smokes a two run triple for BB in the top of the second. BB adds four runs in the top of the third on singles, and a Jay Stein RBI triple. Three runs cross the plate for BG in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a triple by Matt S, and a Pat McKay two run homer. Jason McLaughlin jacks a three run homer for BG in the bottom of the sixth. BG rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Ball Busters get by Bird Gang, 12-10.
Game 2: Vertex vs. Philly Junk
A leadoff double by Sean Nonemacher nets Vertex a run in the top of the first. Singles and a two run double by Mat Crowell leads to five runs for Vertex in the top of the fourth. Back to back doubles by CJ Steiner and Chris Abato nets Vertex five runs in the top of the fifth. PJ finally gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the fifth thanks to an RBI double by Shane Hanna. PJ puts up four runs in the bottom of the sixth with a two run triple by KC Ingram. Vertex tops Philly Junk, 11-7.
Game 3: Vertex vs. Doom Cats
Ryan H rips an RBI double for Vertex in the top of the first. DC answers with a run in the bottom of the first. DC plates a run in the bottom of the fifth. A leadoff double by Dan C gets Vertex a run in the top of the sixth. Vertex adds two runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a Mat Crowell RBI double. Vertex beats the Doom Cats in a low scoring affair, 5-2.
Game 4: Dirty Dozen vs. Silverbacks
A double by Scott Forsyth helps DD get two runs in the top of the first. Doubles by Ian Cuozzo and DJ Ellars net the Silverbacks two runs in the bottom of the first. Errors help DD add three runs in the top of the fourth. DD plates five runs in the top of the fifth on singles. The Silverbacks push four runs across in the bottom of the sixth on singles, and a Cody K RBI double. DD picks up two more runs in the top of the seventh on singles. The Silverbacks rally for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Dirty Dozen downs the Silverbacks, 13-7.
