Web Gems Vs Philly’s Phinest
Web Gems starts the game off hot with singles from Anthony Izzi, Mike Toey, and John Uccelletti and a sac fly from Eric Wrenn to bring in 3 to start the game. Philly’s Phinest gets one back in the bottom off of an rbi from Shawn Dunn. Web Gems scores 4 in the second, with a 3 run Home Run from Anthony Izzi and RBI triple from John Uccelletti. Philly’s Phinest storms back with ten in the second off with 3 singles, two doubles, and triples from each of the Rocks, SR with 2 RBI’s and Jr with 1 RBI. Web Gems gets 1 back in the third when Joey Greiner scores after a double. Philly’s Phinest gets 3 more in the 3rd with an RBI double from Sean Dougherty and 2 RBI single from John Quartillo. Web Gems aren’t able to cross the plate the next three innings and Philly’s Phinest adds three more in the 4th and end this game early in the fifth.

Philly’s Phinest win 17-8.

Felix’s Fellas Vs Philly’s Phinest
Felix’s Fellas open up scoring with 3 runs in the top of the first off of back to back RBI doubles from Sam Matos and Bill Romano. Philly’s Phinest gets one back in the bottom of the first, with an RBI single from Shawn Dunn. Felix’s Fellas gain one after Angel Alicea adds an RBI single after Mike O’Malley’s triple in the second and then their defense holds Philly’s Phinest to a 1-2-3 bottom of the second. Felix’s Fellas adds another in the third off a solo home run from Bill Romano and hold Philly’s to another scoreless inning. Felix’s Fellas adds 1 in the 4th with an RBI single from Angel Alicia and 3 in the 5th including a 2 RBI triple from Brian Copestick. They add one more in the top of the 6th after a triple from Angel Alicea and RBI double from David Rodriguez and then Philly’s Phinest finally breaks through, scoring 5 in the bottom of the 6th with a 2 RBI single from Tony Summers and 2 RBI double from Sean Dougherty. Philly’s Phinest holds Felix’s Fellas to nothing in the top of the 7th and give themselves a chance in the bottom of the 7th after an RBI single from Mike Ricks Sr and Sac Fly from Mike Rocks Jr but fall short with the tying run at the plate.

Felix’s Fellas wins 10-8

Felix’s Fellas Vs Balls Deep
Felix’s Fellas starts the game off with a lead off solo blast from Niko Gonzalez but are unable to add to it in the top of the first. Ball’s Deep strikes back with a two RBI single from Bob Stanley. Neither team adds runs in the second, but Felix’s Fellas score 5 in the 3rd off RBI singles from Angel Alicia, Chip Margiotta, and Sam Matos. Balls Deep adds two more off a 2 RBI Home Run from Tim Frei to keep it close. In the 4th, Felix’s Fellas adds a run off an RBI single from Mike O’Malley and hold Balls Deep to a scoreless inning. Balls Deep cuts into the lead with an RBI double from Mike Gallo but are unable to score after. David Rodriguez hits a 2 run Home Run and Bill Romano adds an RBI single to extend the lead comfortably before holding Balls Deep scoreless in the 7th.

Felix’s Fellas wins 10-5

Swingers Vs Bye Week
Swingers start off fast scoring 3 runs off RBI singles from Brian Close and Dave Pohle and a Sac Fly from Chris Clewell before Bye Week adds 5 of their own in the bottom of the first. Dan Weinstein and Brennan Wright both have 2 run RBI singles and Connor Quinn adds 1 RBI with a single of his own. Swingers respond with a big inning of their own, bringing 16 to the plate and scoring 11 highlighted by a 3 RBI Triple from Colin Kelly and 2 RBI single from Chris Clewell. Bye Week isn’t able to score the next two inning while Swingers add 3 in the 3rd with a 2 Run Sac Fly from Brian Close. Bye Week gets two more in the sixth off of a double from Tommy Cei and triple from Jared Enis. Swingers add 3 more in the 6th with a Sac Fly and an RBI single from Casey McFarland and RBI double from Lucas Burke. Swingers adds 8 more in the top of the 7th with 8 straight hits, with 2 RBI singles from Matt Bachmann and Lucas Burke as well as RBI doubles from Chris Clewell and Dion Greene to extend the lead and then held Bye Week scoreless in the 7th.

Swingers win 28-7

Player of the Game: Brian Close 6-6, 4 singles, double, sac fly, 4 RBI’s, 5 runs scored.

Balls Deep Vs Wild Fire
Wild Fire opens the scoring in the bottom of the first with a 2 run Home Run from Kyle Stephens and then strike again in the second with a 2 RBI double from Vince Cerriale. Balls Deep comes alive in the top of the 3rd with a 2 Run Home Run from Tim Frei and an RBI double from Mike Gallo and Nick Carl comes across the plate on a fielder’s choice. Wild Fire responds with two RBI singles from Kyle Stephens and Eric Simonaitto retake the lead. Balls Deep take their first lead with back-to-back Sac Flies from Nick Carl and Casey Condron and an RBI single from Josh Carl and then shut down Wild Fire to keep the lead. In the top of the fifth Balls Deep extends their lead with 4 more runs, highlighted by a two RBI triple from Tim Frei and a two out 1 RBI triple from Mike Gallo. Vince Cerriale hits a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to cut into Balls Deep’s lead, but in the top of the seventh Nick Carl hits a solo shot to add insurance and then Balls Deep holds Wild Fire to a 1, 2, 3 bottom seventh against the top of their lineup to hang on to the win.

Player of the Game: Tim Frei 3-5, single, triple, home run, 4 RBI’s, 3 runs scored.

Holding Hands Vs Wildfire
Holding Hands scores one in the top of the first after a Bob McHugh leadoff double but Wildfire answers back with two runs in the bottom of the first. Phil Purchase scored the first run for Wildfire after a double and Jim Catanzaro knocked in the second with an RBI single. Holding Hands ties it in the top of the second with an RBI from Bob McHugh but Wildfire comes right back in the bottom of the second with 3 walks, an rbi single from Vince Cerriale and a 2 rbi double from Hector Torres. Holding Hands keeps scoring in the top of the third with an RBI double from John Boyle, RBI triple from Joe Carpino, and an RBI single from Nick Ryan. Wildfire is held to their first scoreless inning and after 3 innings Holding Hands has a 7-6 lead. John Boyle adds his second RBI double of the game and then scores on Todd Getty’s single to extend the lead 9-7 and then Holding Hands plays defense and holds Wildfire scoreless for the second straight inning. In the top of the fifth Bob McHugh has an RBI double for Holding Hands but Wildfire breaks out of their scoreless drought and knocks in 5, highlighted by Zach Shustyk’s 2 RBI single and Vince Cerriale’s RBI single. Holding Hands is scoreless for the first time all game in the top of the sixth and Wildfire adds to their lead with an RBI single from Bruce Davis. Going into the top of the 7th, with Holding Hands leading 12-10, Del Kanan leads off with a single, Liam Getty gets on with a single of his own and Joe Carpino is patient at the plate and loads the bases with a walk. With no outs and bases loaded, Nick Ryan comes through with a bases clearing 3 RBI double to take the lead. Down one going into the bottom of the seventh, Mark Maria gets on to represent the tying run with a single before Vince Cerriale steps up with one out. Vince finishes his 4-4 day with a walk off home run to steal the win for Wildfire.

Wildfire wins 14-13

Player of the Game: Vince Cerriale, 4-4, two singles, a double, walk off HR, 4 RBIs, 2 runs scored.
