Game 1: Purple Cobras vs Dark Dogs

Dark Dogs gets off to a slow start after getting one on in the top of the 1st but does not score him. Purple Cobras jumps out to an early lead in the bottom of the 1st after a leadoff single by Brandon Roman and an RBI sac fly by Dan Roman. Both teams were quiet in the second and did not score any runs. Dark Dogs got some action on the bases in the top of 3rd after starting off the with a couple singles by Jason Hodachek and Bill Jones, but Purple Cobras was able to end the threat and kept the Dark Dogs off the scoreboard. Purple Cobras added on in the bottom of the 3rd on a 2-run homerun by Bill Brancato. Dark Dogs continued to struggle at the plate in the 4th and remained scoreless. Purple Cobras then blew the game open in the bottom of 4th scoring 6 runs on singles by Josh Reed, Robby Villa, Carmen Brancato, CJ Brancato, Bill Brancato and Steve Gardner. Dark Dogs broke through in the top of 5th after a double from Hodachek and an RBI single by Bill Jones. Dark Dogs kept the Purple Cobras off the scoreboard in the bottom of the 5th. Dark Dogs cut the lead in the top of the 6th with two RBI singles by Ryan Schock and Mike Suda. Purple Cobras answered right back with two of their own on an RBI sac fly by Gardner and an RBI single by Jordan Roman. Purple Cobras closed the game out after Dark Dogs got a pair on in the top of 7th. Purple Cobras top Dark Dogs 12-3.

Game 2: One Hit Wonders vs Doc's

Doc's came out strong scoring 4 runs in the top of the 1st on RBI singles by Chris Cartledge, an RBI sac fly by Brett Keszczyk and a run off an error. One Hit Wonders answered right back scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 1st with a 2-run homerun by Andy Springer, RBI double by Bill Groff and RBI singles by Zach Snyder and Tom O'Neill making the score 6-3 One Hit Wonders after 1. Doc's could not cut the lead and did not score in the 2nd.One Hit Wonders added on a run in the second on a Jesse Grasso RBI double. Doc's answered big time in the top of the 3rd scoring 7 runs to take a 10-7 lead off an RBI single from Josh Reed, two run RBI single from Austin Kooker and a grand slam by Josh Keszczyk. One Hit Wonders went down in the bottom of the 3rd without scoring a run. Doc's went down in order in the top of 4th to keep their lead at 3. One Hit Wonders tied the game in the 4th with a two run RBI double by Snyder and an RBI single by Jason Hammer. Doc's had another big inning in the top of 5th as they scored 6 runs after a few errors, an RBI sac fly by AJ Bagushinski and RBI singles by Josh Keszczyk and Cartledge. One Hit Wonders tried to keep the game within reach in the bottom of the 5th scoring two off an RBI double by Grasso and a sac fly by Groff making the score 16-12 Doc's after 5. Doc's added on a run in the 6th with an RBI fielder's choice by Bagushinski. One Hit Wonders remained at bay in the the bottom of the 6th which gave a chance for Doc's to add some insurance in the 7th and they did just that. Doc's scored four more runs off RBI singles by Reed and Bagushinski, RBI double by Paul Elliot and an RBI fielder's choice by Josh Keszczyk. One Hit Wonders could not muster a comeback in the bottom of the 7th and failed to score. Doc's takes down One Hit Wonders 21-12.

Game 3: Doc's vs Wire 2 Wire

Doc's was up to bat first to start the game and they did not waste any time to score as Josh Keszczyk delivered a two run RBI single followed by an RBI single from AJ Bagushinski to make the score 3-0 after the top half of the 1st.Wire 2 Wire got two back in the bottom of the 1st after a Jacob McDevitt RBI triple which he then scored on off an error. Doc's tacked on a run in the top of the 2nd thanks to a Paul Elliot RBI single. Wire 2 Wire tied the game in the bottom of the 2nd after Brett Anker doubled, scored on an error and an RBI single from Adrian Reyes. Wire 2 Wire shut Doc's down on defense in the third and then took the lead in the bottom half of the 3rd with singles by Gene Walczak, Sean Butrica and an RBI double by Pat Downey to make the score 7-4 after three. Doc's cut the lead to one in the top of the 4th after an RBI single by Josh Keszczyk and an RBI sac fly by Chris Cartledge. Wire 2 Wire could not add anymore in the bottom of 4th after getting a couple runners on. Both teams played great defense in the 5th and 6th and kept each other off the scoreboard. This brings us to the top of 7th with Doc's needing a run or more to keep the game going. Doc's first three batters all reached, Cartledge and Joe Giampietro both singled and Dave Ketterlius tied the game on an RBI double. Doc's was not finished and regained the lead after a two run RBI single from Paul Elliot. Wire 2 Wire now had their last chance to try and win the game in the bottom of the 7th. They were able to bring the winning run to the plate after a couple walks, but Doc's defense came through and was able to close it out. Doc's comes back and beats Wire 2 Wire 9-7.
