Game 1: Doc's Irish Pub vs Purple Cobras

Purple Cobras jumped on top early scoring 5 runs in the top of the first inning with RBI singles by Ty Allen, Steve Gardner and Josh Reed. Doc's got one back after a leadoff walk to Austin Kooker who came around to score making it 5-1 Purple Cobras after 1. Purple Cobras bats went quiet in the top of the 2nd as they went down 1,2,3. Doc's took advantage and got back in the game scoring three runs in the bottom of the 2nd on an RBI single by Joe Giampietro, RBI walk by Kooker and an RBI fielder's choice by Matt Fronheiser to pull to within one. Purple cobras added one in the top of the 3rd after two singles by Dan Roman and Bill Brancato. Roman then scored on an error. Doc's then took control of the game in the bottom of the 3rd as they scored 10 runs in the inning. Dylan Brooks had a three-run homerun, Josh Keszczyk, Kooker, Fronheiser, Joe Stankovics and AJ Bagushinski all had RBI singles in the inning to make the score 14-6 Doc's after three. The fourth inning was quiet as both teams failed to plate any runs across. Purple Cobras cut the lead to six after an RBI triple by Allen and an RBI single by Roman in the top of the 5th. Doc's got those runs back and more in the bottom of the 5th on a three-run homer by Bagushinski making the score 17-8 after 5. Purple Cobras got two back in the top of the 6th after an RBI single by Jordan Roman and an RBI sac fly by Robby Villa. Doc's went down 1,2,3 in the bottom of the 6th, but that was all they needed as the Purple Cobras could not come back in the 7th and score. Doc's takes down Purple Cobras 17-10.

Game 2: Wolfpack vs One Hit Wonders

One Hit Wonders got off to a slow start with the bats and were not able to score in the top of the 1st. Wolfpack came up and jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the 1st, scoring one run on a Kris Karaba RBI single. One Hit Wonders got it going the top of the 2nd and took the lead 2-1 after a Bill Groff RBI triple and an RBI sac fly by Jared Owens. Wolfpack answered right back in the bottom of the 2nd, regaining the lead 3-2 after an RBI double by David Barth and an RBI single by Adam Lorenz. The game continued to go back and forth in the 3rd as One Hit Wonders plated 3 runs to retake the lead 5-3 on homers from Jimmy Cooker and Rob Gisondi. Wolfpack bats went cold in the bottom of the 3rd and were not able to score.One Hit Wonders added to their lead in the top of 4th scoring one run on an RBI single from Mike Harrington. Wolfpack were able to cut the lead to one run in the bottom of the 4th after a Kenny Goodwin homerun and an RBI single by Barth to make the score 6-5 One Hit Wonders after 4. One Hit Wonders got one run back in the top of the 5th on an RBI single by Jack Stepnowski to hold a two-run lead going into the bottom of the 5th. Wolfpack cut the lead back to one in the bottom of the 5th as Matt Sheehan delivered an RBI single making the score 7-6 after the 5th. One Hit Wonders got a little breathing room in the top of the 6th, scoring 4 runs on a home run by Cooker and an RBI triple by Gisondi to increase their lead to five. One Hit Wonders maintained that lead after shutting down the Wolfpack in the bottom of the 6th. One Hit Wonders added an insurance run in the top of the 7th after an RBI single by Tom O'Neill. Needing six runs to tie, Wolfpack knew they needed a big inning to try and walk it off in the bottom of the 7th. Goodwin started off the inning with a triple and then singles by Barth, Lorenz, Dave McCauley and Dan Kalonski with only one out gave the Wolpack a chance to comeback as they were only down three. Matt Horn added an RBI single to cut the lead to 2, but One Hit Wonders was able to get final out on a groundball to seal the victory. One Hit Wonders holds on to beat Wolfpack 12-10.

Game 3: Dark Dogs vs Wolfpack

Wolfpack could not get off to a hot start with the bats and scored zero in the top of the 1st. Dark Dogs opened the scoring on their first at bats scoring 4 runs on a three-run homer by Nick Mariana and Jordan Moffett came around to score on a fielder's choice after he tripled. Dark Dogs lead Wolfpack 4-0 after the 1st. Both teams' bats went cold in the 2nd and 3rd as neither team was able to plate any runs. Wolfpack offense came alive in the top of the 4th as they scored six runs to take the lead. Matt Sheehan got it started with a two-run homerun followed by an RBI triple by Kenny Goodwin and an RBI single by Harry Horn. The lead would not last as Dark Dogs came back with six runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th. Jason Hudacheck and Moffett had RBI singles and Mariana and Ryan Schock had RBI doubles. Dark Dogs leads Wolfpack 10-6 after the 4th. The lead remained at 4 in the 5th as both teams could not get anything going. This brought us to the top of the 6th where the game got interesting. Wolfpack needed a big inning to put some pressure on the Dark Dogs and they delivered, scoring 5 runs on an RBI double by Hans Abendroth, RBI sac fly by Goodwin, RBI single by David Barth and a two-run RBI single by Adam Lorenz to take an 11-10 lead over Dark Dogs. Dark Dogs knew time was running out. They were not sure if this game would make it to the seventh inning and needed to score now in the bottom of the 6th. Leadoff singles by Paul Ferruzzi Jr. and Mariana got the inning started and they both came around to score on a fielder's choice hit by Moffett and an RBI single by Peter Burns to take a 12-11 lead. They were hoping to get more, but the inning ended on a strikeout. Fortunately, for the Dark Dogs, the two runs were enough as time expired and the game was over. Dark Dogs win a close one against Wolfpack 12-11.

Game 4: Dark Dogs vs Wire 2 Wire

Wire 2 Wire opened the scoring quickly in the top of the 1st scoring two runs off RBI doubles from Tom Signore and Ben Vitelli. Dark Dogs added one of their own in the bottom of the 1st on a Ryan Schock RBI single making the score 2-1 Wire 2 Wire after the 1st. Derek Aker led off the top of the 2nd with a triple and then scored on a Matt Morgan RBI sac fly to push the lead to two runs after Dark Dogs did not score in the bottom of the 2nd. Wire 2 Wire could not keep their scoring in the top of the 3rd and went down after four batters. Dark Dogs added another in the bottom of the 3rd on another RBI from Schock to make the score 3-2 Wire 2 Wire after the 3rd. Wire 2 Wire got the bats going again in the top of the 4th scoring four runs off RBI hits from Vitelli and Aker as well as a two-run homer by Morgan expanding their lead to 5 after four innings. Wire 2 Wire continued to add on scoring two more runs in the top of the 5th with an RBI triple by Signore and an RBI fielder's choice by Gene Walczak. Dark Dogs tryin to catch up in the bottom of 5th took advantage after 3 leadoff walks and RBI hits by Jordan Moffett and Peter Burns to trim the lead to 9-5 Wire 2 Wire after the 5th. Wire 2 Wire got one run back in the top of the 6th on an RBI single by Pat Downey. Dark Dogs failed to reduce the lead and were not able to score in the bottom of the six. Wire 2 Wire then put the game out of reach in top of the 7th as they scored seven runs with RBIs by Aker, Vitelli, Signore and Jason Falcone. Needing twelve to tie the game in the bottom of seventh, Dark Dogs could not overcome the hole they were in and did not score in the 7th. Wire 2 Wire tops Dark Dogs 17-5.
