Game #1 – Mean Machine vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Mean Machine come out with a Ron Ducko RBI single in the first inning to get the first score of the game. Eddie’s will respond in the bottom of the inning immediately. Mike Downy ties this game with an RBI double, followed by a Brian Dart RBI double. Dawn Bieber than knocks in a run on a single, before Mike Marnock gets two runs on a double. Eddies will keep it rolling in the second with back to back RBI singles from Vito Nigro and Emily Silverman as they take a 9-1 lead. Eddies will continue to lock it down defensively and add more runs late in the game, getting eight runs across the third and fourth inning. Emily Silverman knocked in two more runs with a single, while Mike Downy and Brian Dart added runs on a triple. Eddies will run away with this one and win. Eddies win 17-2.

Game #2 – Hattricks vs. Pancake Batters

Game 2 gets rolling with a bases clearing triple from Ed Reynolds as Hattricks jump up to a 4-0 lead. Pancake will respond and cut that in half, grabbing two runs on a Pat Malloy double. Hattricks will grab six runs across the next two innings on RBI doubles from Joe Perry and Eric Rosenblum as well as a two run single from Paul Hensler. Pancake will respond and get within three runs in the third. Matt Bound knocked in two runs with a triple, followed by another double scoring another run. Alex Brown adds a sac fly as well. Bound was back at it again in the fourth getting to within a run on a two run double from Bound. Pancake grabs a run in the fifth getting a three run homer from Alex Larosa as well as an RBI single from Alex Brown. Hattricks, with their backs against the wall, come back and score seven in the sixth. Perry started it again, grabbing three runs on a triple before he was knocked in on a Rob Schuh triple of his own. Rosenblum also adds two runs on a single. Hattricks would shut it down defensively and win this one. Hattricks win 19-15.

Game #3 – Carroll’s vs. Wehrung’s

Third game gets rolling with a massive inning for Carroll’s. Carroll’s will bat around three times and score a whopping 21 runs in the first inning. Bryan Bart had four RBI’s on a double and single, while Bill Shipe had three RBI’s on a single and double. Greg Lesher had two runs on a triple while Hallie Bilker, Bob McClintock, Lauren Klefcheck, John Zeits, Sarah Yoos, Alie Theis and Kevin Shinkunas had at least one RBI single in the inning. Not much more to report in this game as we only play four innings. Carroll’s will add six more runs in the third and that is enough to end this one early. McClintock adds two more runs as they win easy. Carroll’s win 27-1.
