From The Gutter / Week 7

Post by sixofdiamonds »

Every match was a 5-2 score. Nothing close. No shutouts.

PPB 5-2 over Pin Splitters. Ho hum bowling on both sides of the ball return. PPB is mid-pack in the American. Pin Splitters can see all in the National.

GFP 5-2 over Two and a Half Men. As a team, GFP hurled 8 of 9 over average. A collective effort in Game 3 saved the 2-pointer for THM. Both teams are in the 2nd tier of their respective conferences.

Kingpin 5-2 over Balls of Thunder. Brandon Downey tossed a 167-over 3 game series. Both teams lay mid-pack in their respective conferences.

The Nines 5-2 over Bowls Deep. Jake Wade fires 3 games over average. BD’s CMast hurls 3 games over to help save 2. Both teams lay mid-pack in their respective conferences.

The Lost Boys keep on keepin’ on with a (guess what) 5-2 win over Ball-barians. Diego Roman’s trio of deuces pace the Boys. TLB tops all in the American. Ball-barians have 1 team beat in the National.

Big match with 2 upper echelon teams. Wu-Yang prevails over Slackers by a score of (guess again) 5-2. Kyle Rizzi with a strong 3 games over average. JKerns 222 saves 2 for Slackers.

Good friends Gary’s World and That’s How We Roll faced off with Gary’s World getting the nod. LWood lit up the scoreboard with a 100-over 246.

National Conference leader TBD takes on the 2nd place American Conference Empire. Both shorthanded. Empire’s Brandon Crockett’s 254 in Game 3 was the deciding factor in the 5-2 win.
