Game #1 – Domenick’s vs. Mean Machine

Domenick’s come out with an early run on a hit by Paul Hensler giving them an early 1-0 lead. Machine will answer with six runs in the bottom of the inning. Jeffrey Chen knocks in two runs on a two-run triple, while Ian Cuzzo and Scott Gerhart have back to back RBI doubles. Mike Van Fossen will round out the inning with an RBI single as they take a 6-1 lead. Machine will add two more runs in the second, getting another triple from Chen, giving them a run and Cuzzo knocking in one more with a single. Domenick’s get four back in the third on a two-run bomb from Shawn Arbogast and two run triples from Joe Perry. Defense will rock the rest of the game as neither team would score another run and Machine would take the win. Mean Machine wins 8-5.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Mean Machine

Our next game gets rolling with an RBI single from Greg Lesher giving Carroll’s the early lead. Machine gets two back in the bottom of the inning with back to back RBI doubles from Cuzzo and Gerhart as they take a one run lead. Carroll’s will tie this game up in the bottom of the inning with a run off a single and error. Carroll’s will try and take the reins of this game with five runs in the third. Lauren Kelpchick and Bryant Bart each have an RBI single while Bill Shipe smashes a two run bomb. Carroll’s will take a 9-2 lead after a Hallie Bilker RBI single and Brian Sauers sac fly. Machine will fight back to within three runs as Cuzzo, Gerhart and Ron Ducko have RBI singles. Carroll’s will add some insurance runs in the sixth with a two run bomb from Lesher and an RBI triple from Sarah Yoos. This will be enough to hold on to the win. Carroll’s win 13-9.

Game #3 – The Runs vs. Quality Landscaping

Last game of the night gets rolling with Runs batting around and scoring six runs. Bobby Ridenour starts it with an RBI single, Nick Perricone nets one with a triple, while Erik Cusano smashes a three-run bomb. Quality will come back in the bottom of the inning with three runs, off Phil McCusker and Mason Ebersole singles. Runs will get those runs back immediately with RBI singles from Cusano, Exner and Steve Schnell. A Matt Kovaleski two run single gives them a 11-3 lead before Runs blows up in the fourth. Matt Kovaleski and Jade Hughes both knock in two runs on singles, while Cusano nets two runs on a triple. This game will flip flop as Runs will win easily. Runs win 21-6.
