Game #1 – Wackers vs. Carroll’s Jewelers

Wackers get rolling with three runs right out of the gate. Althought Nonny could not get it started with a double, Chase Luxton will help grabbing an RBI single followed by a two run single off the bat of Lissa Tercha. They will double up their lead in the second getting three more runs in the second, this time getting an impact from Sean Nonnnnnemacher, grabbing a two run triple. Wackers grab two runs on a Luxton RBI double and Mary Kate Smith RBI single before we will get the first action from Carroll’s. Carroll’s get two runs on a triple from Bryan Bart and another run on an RBI single from Brian Sauers. Carroll’s will slow down from there as Wackers keep it going. Wackers get another RBI triple out of Nonnnnnnemacher as he tries to become the triples king. Alex Freeman will smash an RBI double and Luxton will add a solo homer as they cruise to a dub. Wackers win 14-3.

Player of the Game:
Sean Nonnnnnnnnnemacher (Wackers) - 3/4, 2B, 2 3B’s, 3 RBI’s

Game #2 – Sultans of Swing vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Sultans come out looking for some offense, but will really find it hard in this one. A Mike Liddy RBI double in the third inning is the only offense that they can produce in this one. Crew on the other hand is a completely different story. Crew put up eight in the first inning thanks to a Jon Motts RBI triple, 2 two run doubles from Tom Finn and Jonathan Duchette and a two run single from Carly Levin. Home Runs paced the second inning for Crew as they get a solo shot from Jon Motts and a three run bomb off the bat of Marcus Gibson. A Duchette solo bomb is the only score from Crew in the third, but they will end this game early as they push seven runs across in the fourth. Ian Kacergis had an RBI triple, while Greg Reilly, Kaelyn Motts and Finn had RBI hits in the inning as well. Crew swarm Sultans and win 21-1.

Player of the Game:
Jonathan Duchette (Crew) - 3/3, 2B, HR, 3 RBI’s

Game #3 – Knuckleheads vs. Altek

After the big offensive onslaught from Crew in game two, we have Knuckleheads coming out firing in the third game, to the tune of 5 runs in the first inning. Jon Poore and John Schofield start the scoring with back-to-back RBI singles, followed by a two run single from Pierre Girin. Casey Apt adds an RBI single later in the inning. Knuckleheads get rolling again in the second inning this time pushing across nine runs. Jose Rodriguez and John Schofield have RBI singles, while Rich Zupkusky and Matt Bookheimer have RBI doubles. Girin has the big shot smashing a three-run bomb. Knuckleheads are back at it in the third grabbing five more runs. John Kiefer got into the action scoring two on a single, while Girin again had a big hit, this time a triple which nets a run. Altek will salvage some face and grab three runs in the fourth on a Kevin Cwikla RBI double and an error, but that is all they can put up in this one. Knuckleheads win 19-3.

Player of the Game:
Pierre Girin (Knuckleheads) – 3/3, 3B, HR, 6 RBI’s
