Lukens 1 – Game 1
Slap a Pitch vs. Team Hunt

In the 1st game of the day at Lukens 1, Slap a Pitch and Team Hunt would face off. Slap a Pitch would waste no time at all, scoring 2 quick runs in the 1st, followed by 4 in the 2nd, 5 in the 3rd, and 3 in the 4th. Harrison Miller would clobber the ball with 2 doubles on the day and at least 4 RBIs on the day. Andrew Bravo and JR Hilsee would also have a nice game at the plate, each with 2 RBIs. Team Hunt would match the oppositions 1st inning total, scoring 2 runs of their own. Their bats would go quiet until they would finally score 3 runs in the 6th and 2 more in the 7th. Josh Groff and Bob Louderback would lead the team, with 4 RBIs each in the game. Unfortunately not much more offence would come out of their lineup and they would fall to Slap a Pitch with a final of 14-8.

Lukens 1 – Game 2
Fightin O’s vs. Slap a Pitch

In their 2nd game of the day, Slap a Pitch would face newcomers the Fightin O’s and would make quick work of them. Slap a Pitch would score 18 runs in the 1st inning and then add the 3 more they would need in the 3rd to head home for the day. Offence would literally come from up and down their lineup, however Harrison Miller would once again lead the pack with 4 hits and 4 RBIs in the game. Donna Miller would add 3 RBIs to the teams total and Andrew Bravo, Kim Williams, Cyndee Shanks, Mandy Burns and Trevor Ray would all have 2 additional RBIs for the team. On the other side of the diamond, the Fightin O’s would have a tough time not only in the field but at the plate. Holly Powell would lead the way for her team with 2 singles in the game and a RBI. The Fightin O’s would drop another game with a final score of 21-1 after 3 innings.

Lukens 1 – Game 3
Masterbatters vs. Fightin O’s

Game was forced to be rescheduled because of rain. Thanks Mother Nature!

Cedar Hill – Game 1
The Bottom Pitches vs. Jerzees

In an early season matchup where a win would be pretty important for The Bottom Pitches they would unfortunately have to square off with a strong Jerzees squad. The Bottom Pitches would score an early run in the 1st off the bat of their cleanup hitter Kenny Ballard but go ice cold the rest of the game and only put the 1 run across the plate. The team would manage to squeeze a few more hits out of their lineup but nothing that would amount to anything substantial. Jerzees would get their 1 run back in the 1st and then go on to score 4 in the 3rd and 9 more runs in the 5th inning. Mark Sudell would have a nice day at the plate with a triple and HR and 4 total RBIs. Kristina Sudell, Dave Paone and Nicole Rodenbaugh would each add 2 RBIs to their teams total as well. Jerzee’s would take home an easy victory with a final score of 14-1.

Cedar Hill – Game 2
Hattrick’s Sports Bar vs. Jerzees

In their 2nd game of the day, Jerzees would face off another newcomer to the league in Hattricks. The sports bar would get going early with 2 quick runs in the 1st but then only score 1 more run throughout the remainder of the game. RBIs would come from the bats of Chris Davidson, Matt Friend and Anthony Postelli. Jerzees would once again make easy work of the opposing squad, scoring 5 runs in the 1st, 3 more in the 2nd, and 9 more throughout the rest of the game. Dave Paone would lead his team with 5 RBIs in the game on 3 singles. Matt Burns and Kristina Sudell would each add 3 RBIs themselves. Jerzees would win again with a final score of 17-4.
