Giusseppi’s VS Web Gems
Web Gems jumps out to an early lead off an Arik Fenton RBI triple, who then scores on a Nick Mackell ground out. Giusseppi’s comes alive after a 1-2-3- first and grabs the lead in the second. Bob Jacobs has a 2 rbi single, Ryan Nakonieczny has an RBI single, Paul Kosiek has a 2 rbi single, Tom Jacobs has a sac fly, and Brendan Gray caps off the inning with a Grand Slam. Giusseppi’s continues the offensive onslaught with a Tom Jacob RBI walk, a two RBI single from John Franke, and an RBI single from Brandan Gray to add 4 more in the 3rd. Each team adds 1 in the 4th, with Eric Wrenn knocking in one for Web Gems. The 5th sees Giuseppe’s add to the lead, with a Home Run from Tom Jacob and rbi single from Brendan Gray. Web Gems gets one back off an rbi single from Steve Wilson but Giusseppi’s finishes it off with an RBI single from Ryan Nakonieczny and sac fly from Greg Jacob.

Wild Fire VS Philly’s Phinest
Mike Rocks Jr starts the scoring in the bottom of the first with a solo Home Run, but Wild Fire ties it up with a Vince Ceriale RBI single. Philly’s Phinest takes the lead right back with an rbi double from Domenic Rocks and a 2 rbi single from Mike Rocks Jr and then extend the lead in the bottom of the third with an rbi single from Drew Costello, 2 rbi double from Mike Rocks Jr, and a 2 RBI single from Steve Johnson. Scoring ceases until Philly’s Phinest gets an RBI double from Steve Johnson in the 5th and then an RBI walk from Chase Rommel. Wild Fire gets a 2 RBI single from Bruce Davis in the 6th, but Philly’s Phinest gets both back with one swing from Steve Johnson with a 2 run home run to keep the lead at 8 and they glove up in the seventh to take this one.
Philly’s Phinest wins 14-4

Wild Fire VS Balls Deep
Wild Fire gets on the board early their second game with an Eric Simonait rbi double, but Balls Deep takes it right back with a two RBI single from Will Schulz. In the third Wild Fire takes the lead with two runs off a 2 rbi single from Bruce Davis, but Wild Fire ties it up with a Bob Stanley RBI double. Wild Fire keeps scrapping and retakes the lead in the 4th with a 2 rbi double from Joe Guinan and a sac fly from Bince Ceriale, but Balls Deep answers again with an RBI triple from Casey Condron, rbi single from Connor Quinn, 2 rbi triple from Trevor Harris, RBI single from Tim Frei, and 2 RBI double from Bob Stanley. Balls Deep adds 2 more in the 5th with a solo Home Run from Casey Condron and rbi double from Josh Carl and Wild Fire comes storming back, down 12-6, in the sixth. Phil Purchase gets the first rbi on a single, Bruce Davis follows with an RBI single, Chris Smith gets one as well which is followed by Tom Orlando’s RBI single and then Joe Guinan gives Wild Fire the lead with a 2 RBI double. We go into the bottom of the sixth with time expired and Balls Deep down by two. Tim Gluck starts them off with a double before Bob Stanley walks to bring up the winning run. Wild Fire gets two outs, but with two outs and two runners on, Casey Condron rips a triple down the line to score two to tie the game and put himself 60 feet from winning it. Connor Quinn comes through to walk this one off as Casey Condron crosses the plate for Balls Deep.
Balls Deep wins 15-14

Balls Deep VS Birds of War
Birds of War watches the end of the previous game and decides to neuter Balls Deeps momentum immediately. They get 2 runs off a Justin Kneebone single, 1 off a John Laino single, one from a Ryan Mcavey double, and Anthony Maucrin caps it off with a 2 rbi double to jump out to a 6-0 lead. Balls Deep tries to keep it close, with a 3 run Home Run from Tim Gluck to cut it in half, but Birds of War continues hitting in the second. The grab another on a Matt Jacobson rbi single and 3 more on a John Laino Home Run to extend it to 10-3. Balls Deep refuses to pull out of this game though and grab another 3 in the second with an RBI single from Josh Carl and 2 rbi double from Tim Frei. Birds of War grab 2 in the third off of a Jay Cowan rbi triple and Balls Deep sees an opportunity to take advantage. They get a 2 rbi single from Trevor Rice, an rbi single from Josh Carl, and a Grand Slam from Tim Frei to grab the lead at 13-12 after 3. Birds of War cant score in the 4th and Balls Deep keeps the momentum going, getting an RBI single from Will Schulz and Casey Condron and then a 2 RBI triple from Connor Quinn, an RBI single from Trevor Harris, and a second Home Run from Tim Frei, this time a two run Home Run. Bob Stanley ends the inning with a ball absolutely crushed into the trees, but Balls Deep is over the limits and it is nothing more than an out. Birds of War can’t rally after Balls Deeps two big innings, and Balls Deep add 4 more in the fifth with a sac fly from Connor Quinn, rbi double from Trevor Rice, and 2 rbi single from Josh Carl.
Balls Deep wins 24-12
