Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Wackers
The Wackers take the early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first. HH gets on the board with a run in the top of the third. The Wackers add a run in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Alex Freeman nets the Wackers in the bottom of the fourth. HH plates four runs in the top of the sixth on doubles by Jarrett Kerns and Brittany Ullman. Alex Freeman rips a two run double for the Wackers in the bottom of the sixth.
Game 2: Wackers vs. Hagan’s Heroes
The Wackers put up seven runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Alex Freeman, Ian Cuozzo, and Mark Cooper, and a Bill Brancato two run triple. HH answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on a Chase Luxton double. Six runs cross the plate for the Wackers in the top of the sixth on a two run double by Eric Schade, and an Ian Cuozzo two run double. Back to back doubles by Ron Pulli and Jarrett Kerns nets HH two runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Wackers get eight more runs in the top of the seventh on singles, and a two run homer by Roc Akers. Rich Z jacks a solo homer for HH in the bottom of the seventh. The Wackers take the second game handily, 22-6. The Wackers are the fall A champs.
B Finals
Hatfield
Game 1: Ump Yours vs. JT Bankers
JT takes an early lead in the bottom of the first with three runs on back to back RBI doubles by Charlie Mott and Paul Cagier. A leadoff double by Bob Louderback nets UY two runs in the top of the second. JT bats around in the bottom of the second to put up three runs on RBI doubles by Nick Cordisco and Greg Hess. UY bats around in the top of the third to score six runs on singles, and a two run double by Bob Louderback. JT plates two runs in the bottom of the fifth. UY adds two runs in the top of the sixth thanks to back to back doubles by Joey Berry and Anthony Rubas. Ump Yours squeaks out the first game, 11-10.
Game 2: JT Bankers vs. Ump Yours
Two runs cross the plate for JT in the top of the first on a double by Charlie Mott. UY answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Charlie Mott blasts a two run homer for JT in the top of the third. JT plates four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to back to back RBI triples by Greg Hess and Charlie Mott. Mel Nigro smokes a two run triple for UY in the bottom of the fourth. Nick Cordisco smokes a two run triple for JT in the top of the fifth. Anthony Rubas jacks a two run homer for UY in the bottom of the fifth. A Nic Pataki RBI double helps UY get four runs in the bottom of the sixth. JT Bankers takes the second game, 14-13.
Game 3: Ump Yours vs. JT Bankers
UY bats around in the top of the first to get six runs on singles, and a solo homer by Joey Berry. UY puts up three runs in the top of the second. JT gets on the board with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to a Charlie Mott solo homer. JT scores six runs in the bottom of the third thanks to doubles by Nick Cordisco, Charlie Mott, Jason Genua, and Rachel O. Anthony Rubas smashes a solo homer for UY in the top of the fourth. JT pushes five runs across in the bottom of the fifth thanks to doubles by John Bechtel and Nick Cordisco, and a Jason Genua two run triple. Kevin Goyetter rips a two run double as three runs come in for UY in the top of the sixth. UY puts up four runs in the top of the seventh with a two run homer by Joey Berry. JT walks it off with four runs in the bottom of the seventh. JT Bankers wins the third game in dramatic fashion, 18-17. JT Bankers are the fall B champs.
